The Orphan From Carvahall

                                         The Orphan From Carvahall

My favorite literary character is Eragon because he goes through so many struggles and is still brave. Eragon's uncle, Garrow, is killed and Eragon decides to hunt down his uncle's killers. I actually felt Eragon's agony when his uncle died. His character is just so pure and kind. He wants to try in any way he can to stop Galbatorix's rule of  tyranny. When Eragon is wounded by the Shade, and he experiences extreme pain down his back, I felt the sadness and depression he went through. During his stay in Ellesmera, Eragon was tested and trained by Oromis. I realized how strong and determined he was to become as strong as possible so he could be ready to overthrow Galbatorix. Though he might have become tired and discouraged at times, Eragon always tried his best. I also experienced Eragon's amazement when he found out that Murtagh is his brother and Morzan was his father. Eragon has been through so many struggles in his life. I wish I could have the bravery that he has.

Free to love

We often tend to choose our favorite character early into reading a book and most of the time you'll change who your favorite character is further into the book. Although, while reading The Notebook by Nicholas Spark ever since the beginning of the book my favorite character was Noah Calhoun. He is my favorite for many different reasons. The main reason being how strong his love stays throughout the battle. For some reason he still wants Allie considering the fact it was almost a year since they had talked. He still built the house exactly how she wanted. He didn't care what her parent's had to say about their relationship. He knew he loved her. Even after finding out that she had moved on, he didn't have a second thought. I admire him. He displays what love really is. Now days, love is thrown around like a little four letter, meaningless word. And whenever I see that I think back to Noah and remember the emotions and feelings he had and realize what love really is . I think we can all learn a lesson from my favorite character . That lesson is never give up even when things get extremly tough. To me, that is one of the most important lessons you will learn in life .
