In many ways this applies to me. Whether it's academics or volleyball I never want to give up. None of us ever strive to be second best or go out with a whimper. We all aspire to be the greatest. But to be the greatest you can't give up and if you don't give up nothing can stand in your way. No matter the trials and hardships you just have to play the game the best you can and if you lose you know you did your best. As long as we learn that we can't always win we will never let it get us down. We must hold our heads up high in the face of adversity and push forward with all of our might. Never giving up is not something you can just say to inspire people. You have to live by it as if it were your mission in life. My mission is to never give up. So long as I remember this I will never lose heart.

I totally agree Kayla. Anything is possible if you don't give up! You will never get somewhere in life if you don't try because its too hard. Always push forward and you will succeed.
