In my opinion, this phrase means things do not occur randomly. Everything happens because it was meant to happen. If Eddie would not have chased after the baseball, his brother threw, the Blue Man would not have died. He would have lived on, but if the Blue Man would not have died, he might have killed Eddie.
The second sentence means we are all connected in one way or another. Even though we might have different last names, we are still related. Every life can not be separated because we all came from the same ancestors and our lives are intertwined.
The third sentence, in my opinion, means that we are all the same. The breeze and wind are related because the wind is composed of many breezes. Since the breeze and the wind are related, this means that all our lives are connected.
