The Hobbit Blog Assignment

At the end of The Hobbit, Gandalf describes Bilbo Baggins as "..only quite a little fellow in a wide world after all". Bilbo wasn't used to the outside world and adventure. Although he was most content in his hobbit hole, Bilbo Baggins was a great contribution to this journey. Even though he was outside of his comfort zone, he stayed strong and even became the leader.

I, personally, wouldn't be satisfied with living a simple life like Bilbo Baggins does. He is truly happy with the life he lives, and prefers this lifestlye over the adventures and oppurtunities that he is missing out on. To stay within those boundaries and not getting out of the usual routine would make life really boring for me, and I'd like to live my life to its fullest. So instead of being "..only a little fellow in a wide world after all", I want to be part of something bigger, something out of the ordinary.
