"The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary" - Donald Kendall
Does 's' come before 'w'? Why, of course it does! According to Donald Kendall's words about effort, 'success' starting with 's', will only be before 'work' starting with 'w' in the dictionary. Effort is physical or mental power. You cannot do things without putting forth effort. To succeed you first need to work to get there, not the other way around. To be successful, you have to have effort. Without it, all things in life would be handed to you. Success is not served on a platter, nor is it just given to you. Therefore, it is true that the word 'success', will only be before 'work' in an alphabetical order, like the dictionary. Remember Donald Kendall's words, success requires effort. This is my favorite quote.
