A Quote of Gandhi

"Be the change you want to see in the world." -Mohandas Gandhi

I was drawn to this quote because it's something we can all relate to. So often in life, we complain of how our world is an unethical place. How it is full of greed, hatred, and selfishness. When was the last time you made a difference in someone's life? When was the last time you made an impact so profound on someone that you had to stop and wonder how great life was? Better yet, when was the last time I made that change. It is easy to judge others, or blame others for the world's faults, yet it is difficult to be that change you want to see. If our society placed more emphasis on changing ourselves, becoming a part of that utopian image world peace, then we must start with ourselves. We must realize that we are all able to make the changes for the better, but must be willing to put forth the effort. Just think of how much this world affect the world. The possibilities are endless. All of this may happen, as long as you start with yourself.

  1. I love your blog! When I would talk to my parents about how I wanted to make a difference in the world around me, sometimes they would tell me,"Well, charity starts at home." Your blog goes along the lines of that. In order to make a difference, we need to make a difference in ourselves first. I really enjoyed your blog! Great job!
