Connecting the Dots

"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate the breeze from the wind." This is stated by the blue man from the novel The Five People You Meet in Heaven. This is the first lesson Eddie learns and for good reason. The blue man wishes to teach Eddie that birth and death are part of a whole. That it is apart of life when somebody withers to let another grow old. He wants to show Eddie that good can come from death because it just proves that another soul had survived. What this quote means to me is that there are no unplanned moments. Every person strides through life on a path planned for them. Every individual represents a dot on the paper of life that God has drawn out. We are all destined to make an impact on each others life whether for the best or worst, but in the end I believe that our connected souls will paint the most beautiful picture.
