Life Connections

"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from a wind."

To me, it means that everything happens for a reason. That the cause and effect of anything that happens to you is attached to everyone, not just you. You cannot separate what happens to you, from someone else. Your life connects with your friend's life, and your peer's life, and maybe even a total stranger's life. We're all put on Earth with a purpose. Some, like Eddie in The Five People you Meet in Heaven, were born to save people. Not everyone's purposes are the same, but they all connect in some way. Like when Eddie set the hut on fire. He didn't know that he was killing Tala. But his actions affected her. Everything happens for a reason. Whether the outcome is good or bad. Ending in life or death. You can't change it, fate is fate.
