Connecting With the Unknown
I believe "that there are no random acts of kindness." Whatever my actions are, they do effect the outcomeof something else. There is a quote in Mitch Albom's The Five People You Meet in Heaven that is perfect for what i am trying to explain. "That there are no random acts of kindness we are all connected. That you can no more seperate one life from another than you can seperate a breeze from the wind.(page 48)" This quote is greatly accurate, we are all together. We connect with people we are close to, like family, and not so close to, like a waitress. The simile comparing our lives to the wind is a wonderful representation of how we are so close. There would be no breeze without the wind. So, there would be no actions if it was not for ours. We are all on this journey of life together. Think of one thing you have done. Could have been yesterday, could have been four years ago. If you would have changed your actions, would you have changed someone's live?
