The Hobbit

In "The Hobbit" Bilbo says he is pleased to be " only quite a little fellow in a wide world after all?" I would not be happy to be that. If you want to make friends you can't just stand in the back. You won't get any body back there. Maybe Bilbo likes it because he likes peace and quite without listening to anyone. Personally, I would rather be noticed by somebody. It isn't that I don't like peace and quiet. It's that I don't like it how Bilbo doesn't like anyone knocking on his door. The only way that could happen is if nobody cares about you. I would like to have someone show up at my door every minute than nobody showing up. I don't like being alone and unnoticed. Instead, I would rather never have peace and always have someone noticing me. So, I would not be happy being only quite a little fellow in a wide world because if you are, then you are someone who doesn't matter to anyone.
