In the book, The Hobbit, Bilbo says he is pleased to be ''only quite a little fellow in a wide world after all.'' I think Bilbo realized how easy his little life in his hobbit hole was compared to how hard and difficult the outside world can be. Bilbo never went on an adventure before Gandalf and the Dwarves showed up. When he did go on the adventure, he proved himself as a brave, courageous hobbit. After the adventure, he still wanted to go back to his home and have peace and quiet. As for me, I would not be happy to be ''only quite a little fellow in a wide world.'' I would prefer going on adventures rather than sitting at home doing nothing. I look forward to getting out of Denham Springs and seeing the world with my own two eyes someday. I want to have experiences I would not have had if I stayed in Denham Springs. I'm jealous that Bilbo went into an adventure and came out a hero. That is something that I will probably not experience. Maybe as I get older my mind will change, but for now I want to be the adventurer.
