Are we all connected?

I agree with the statement "that there are no random acts. That we are all connected..." because I have a personal example that happened just recently. I was accepted into the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) summer program for musical theater. A few weeks later, I was also cast in the musical Singin' in the Rain. One day at a Singin' in the Rain rehearsal, I said that I was going to NOCCA the next week, and the lead girl in the play said that she went to NOCCA for high school. She is an amazing dancer and gave me some pointers before I went. If I hadn't said that I was going to NOCCA, then we would probably never have talked and become as close as we are now. For me, the statement "everything happens for a reason" is very true. Unfortunately we don't always have such an obvious example given to us. Eddie lived his life, day in and day out, doing his job at Ruby Pier. He fixed belts, checked rides, and made children smile with his pipe cleaner animals. He went through life doing what he thought needed to be done. His daily connections to people were just people he saw at the Pier -no one significant. It wasn't until he went to heaven that he realized what an impact he had on them and they had on him. It may have made his life more special if he knew that we are all connected "like the breeze is to the wind".
