Blog Assignment #1
"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more seperate one life from another than you can seperate a breeze from the wind."
To me, this means that all things happen for a reason. All things that happen in your life occur for a reason. For God placed everything in our life for a reason, because if there wasn't a reason behind our actions what would be the point of living? Like the tornadoes in Joplin, Missouri, what was God's plan for that town? Hypothetically, God's plan was for the lost people to become found again. Not only did it change a town, it changed an entire nation. So first, it changed a town by reuniting lost neighbors with each other. Second, it united a nation by drawing people in for one cause, connecting them together as one greater than one connecting by himself.
The connection of that tornado, tearing through Joplin, Missouri, in theory, was a butterfly in Northeastern Brazil. The butterfly flapped its wings, at a precise moment, which created a slight breeze that was enough to offset a weather pattern. So, instead of a nice spring day in Joplin, Missouri, this slight breeze shifted a pressure system enough to create a thunderstorm, that would in turn, create the devastating tornado that had a reason by God, to destroy Joplin enough to change not only a town, but a nation.
The connection between a butterfly in Northeastern Brazil and a small town named Joplin, Missouri, is the tragic tornado that was created by the wind disturbance of a butterfly flapping its wings. So through God's eyes, no act is ever random, but in turn it is always connected in the weirdest of ways.
