We're All Connected

To me, the quote, "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind" means that God is always in control. So many times people think they are all alone in the world to succeed or fail in life. The Blue Man told Eddie that the human spirit knows, in some way, that all lives intersect. All the people we meet in life have a purpose in our life. We also have a purpose in their life. Remember, we are all connected. We may not know what the purpose is but God does and he knows what he is doing. Even if you bump into someone and tell them, "I'm so sorry, have a nice day." God planned for you to bump into that random person and say that. That person may have needed some encouragement that day. That stranger could think that what you did was thoughtful and could do it to someone else. It can cause a chain-reaction. Again, everyone is connected. There is always a balance between life or death and God is in control of that balance. An example is when a solider dies protecting our country so we can live in peace. As people die others are born. It is the way God made the world. Every one has a purpose whether large or small. No life is a waste and no one is alone. Even things that happen before we are born can still affect us and the people who come after us. This is shown in Eddie's heaven. His heaven is Ruby Pier filled with all the people born and unborn who were saved thanks to Eddie and the way he maintained the rides. Although he never felt important, he kept so many people safe and happy.
