Love All Around

Love is a strong, positive emotion of regard and affection. My definition of love is when you
can put yourself last for someone or something. Love affects everyone on this planet. It can
change a person's life forever. You can love your friends, your wife or husband, and your mom or
dad. People do not even have to love a person; they can love food, music, God, or sports.
There are lots of ways to express love. You can hug someone, kiss someone, give a person a gift,
or do something on your own time for them. I show my parents I love them by, occasionally,
making them breakfast in the morning. Love also lasts beyond this world. My grandpa
passed away four years ago and I still love him in my heart, even though he is not with us today.
You can hold on to love forever. Love can make a big impact on people, but it also makes a big
impact on animals. Not too long ago, there was an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Many birds and
other wildlife were covered in oil. We showed our love for these animals & our environment by
cleaning them. People showed a love for our culture during this time by raising money for
those affected by the spill. Many hours were spent cleaning oil in the Gulf to help protect the
seafood industry which is such an important part of Louisiana. There are many ways to show love
and be loved. As for what I love, I love God, my family, friends, music, and food.
