Why do we use "Love"?
The "real" love is a thing of the past. Everyday, kids and teens say," I love you", and they separate in two days. Love is the most overused yet unknown word used in today's society. I've never been in love so I literally have no idea what it might feel like. I cannot imagine that it would change your whole life as dramatically as people say and act like it does. People overreact when someone does not say that they love them back, but they do not even know what the real meaning is. Love cannot be fully understood until you experience the real thing which usually does not happen. Numerous marriages today end with a divorce even though they say that they love each other all the time. People get overexcited if someone says they love them. Friends say it to each other even if they do not really love each other because they say it is brotherly love. Brotherly love does not exist except for your actual brothers or sisters. I cannot believe that the phrase," I love you", has come out to be this crazy thing most teens freak out about.
