whats true love?

I believe love can be an amazing thing and it can be tossed around like a ball. Day to day people say they “love” someone after a day or two of just meeting them, this I do not believe is what love really is. I don’t believe some people really know what love is because it is used more than the word “like,” that is rarely ever used anymore. Love should take time and only get stronger as it goes on. Love should be giving up something for the person that you love even if you don’t want to. It has to build up and get stronger over time. If you really love someone then you love them 24 7. You don’t stop loving them just because you’re mad at them or they’re mad at you. It shouldn’t be something you can turn on and off. There’s people who do it to go along with the crowd, people who think they know what it is, and then there’s people who know what it is and have been married for fifty years. If you ask these people what true love is then it’s probably the closest thing to the true definition of love. Those are my opinions of love and what it truly is.
