The Orphan From Carvahall
The Orphan From Carvahall
My favorite literary character is Eragon because he goes through so many struggles and is still brave. Eragon's uncle, Garrow, is killed and Eragon decides to hunt down his uncle's killers. I actually felt Eragon's agony when his uncle died. His character is just so pure and kind. He wants to try in any way he can to stop Galbatorix's rule of tyranny. When Eragon is wounded by the Shade, and he experiences extreme pain down his back, I felt the sadness and depression he went through. During his stay in Ellesmera, Eragon was tested and trained by Oromis. I realized how strong and determined he was to become as strong as possible so he could be ready to overthrow Galbatorix. Though he might have become tired and discouraged at times, Eragon always tried his best. I also experienced Eragon's amazement when he found out that Murtagh is his brother and Morzan was his father. Eragon has been through so many struggles in his life. I wish I could have the bravery that he has.
Free to love
We often tend to choose our favorite character early into reading a book and most of the time you'll change who your favorite character is further into the book. Although, while reading The Notebook by Nicholas Spark ever since the beginning of the book my favorite character was Noah Calhoun. He is my favorite for many different reasons. The main reason being how strong his love stays throughout the battle. For some reason he still wants Allie considering the fact it was almost a year since they had talked. He still built the house exactly how she wanted. He didn't care what her parent's had to say about their relationship. He knew he loved her. Even after finding out that she had moved on, he didn't have a second thought. I admire him. He displays what love really is. Now days, love is thrown around like a little four letter, meaningless word. And whenever I see that I think back to Noah and remember the emotions and feelings he had and realize what love really is . I think we can all learn a lesson from my favorite character . That lesson is never give up even when things get extremly tough. To me, that is one of the most important lessons you will learn in life .

Game's On
Game's On
Ender Wiggin is an eleven year old boy with the brain power to save an entire nation. Though the boy is only at the age of eleven his mind extends to the far reaches of knowledge. This why I love the character of Ender Wiggin. He is a mastermind trapped in the body of nothing but an underling. This, of course, is a set back for Ender in a few ways, but it doesn't stop him from facing his fears in a intellectual manner. The sheer cunning of his character glows and the his skill is greater than all other. Although in every other story there is a conflict, yet it's different. He never shows fear and yet cries out of sight. He hates violence, yet kills two boys with his bare hands. This is also interesting for the fact that he has more than one conflict. Though even when beaten and drawing blood, he doesn't quit. It sounds like every other mythical story, but this one give a little deeper meaning. It shows how an innocent child grows to be an unwillingly harmful beast, but at the same time, gentle and relaxed. All these characteristics describe Ender Wiggin, and that is why he is my most idolized book character.

Mr.Pickwick
Charles
Dickens created Mr. Pickwick for the book The Pickwick Papers, which became on
of my favorite book, making Mr. Pickwick my favorite character I have ever
encountered in a novel. Mr. Pickwick is a plump middle-aged gentleman that
lived in the 1800’s; he was a gentleman and an esquire. I find humor in him
because there isn’t anything that he does that goes well with him. In many
occasions Mr. Pickwick gets into troubles by saying things with double
meanings, everything he said would be taken in the wrong way. Once as he was
talking to his maidservant about hiring a manservant, he said it in a way that
his maidservant thought that he was purposing! I connect with Mr. Pickwick
because he isn’t perfect, there is never a time when he isn’t running into
issues. He isn’t a hero, but he is a normal human with abnormal problems that
are solved with ingenuity. The mischief that he and his companions have are
humorous, his manservant once wrote a valentine to the one he loved, and not
wanted to reveal his identity, signed the letter with his master’s name! Mr.
Pickwick is a humble and joyful man, enjoying everything that he does. He
displays something rare in humanity now; he welcomes strangers and forgives
everyone that he encounters. He is a great example of what a human should be,
even if he is fictional. The world would be a great place if we were all
Pickwinians.
Prettier on the inside!
Have you ever wanted to be included in something, or to fit
in? My favorite literary character is Belly from “The Summer I Turned Pretty” by
Jenny Han. Belly is a teenage girl who, every summer, has visited a beach house
owned by her mother’s best friend, Susannah. Belly, her mom, her brother
Steven, Susannah, and her two sons Conrad and Jeremiah would spend each summer
swimming and not having a care in the world. However, it was not always fun for
Belly. Her brother and the boys would constantly leave her out and ignore her,
but one summer changed everything. Conrad and Jeremiah paid attention to her, and
it was the summer she turned pretty. In the beginning of the story, Belly is
expecting the usual. She is expecting that the boys will continue to leave her
out and that she will never fit in. When they start to include her, Belly
questions herself and how she has changed. As the story progresses, Belly
realizes that she has not necessarily changed, but has grown up. She realizes
that it has never been about being included, that it is about being yourself,
and spending time with the people you love. I admire her for that. I think
Belly is a relatable character because isn’t that what we all want at least one
point in our lives? To fit in? I know I do. I think “The Summer I Turned Pretty”
is a great read and can change your perspective on some things in life. I would
definitely recommend it!
Srong and Surdy
I have read many books in my life and it is hard to choose a favorite. Although, I think the best book I’ve ever read was the hunger games. There is one character in the story that I am very much alike. His name is Peta. Peta is a strong, caring character that doesn’t lose his head when faced with life threatening situations. He did what was right by not killing anyone. But also did what he had to do by staying alive. He also showed he was caring by forming an alliance with Katnis. Through the whole story Peta stayed a dynamic character. He didn’t change personalities when he was faced with extremities. He stuck with his gut and did what was right and was always faithful to himself. He is a very strong character. I believe I would do the same thing and be the same as him.
Love in Disguise
Love in Disguise
My favorite literary character
is Ronnie Miller, from the novel “The Last Song” written by Nicholas Sparks.
Reading this dramatic yet tragic novel has altered my views on life. I personally
believe that Ronnie is a very admirable character throughout the entire novel. In
the beginning of the story, the author portrays Ronnie to be a mean, Gothic, trouble
maker. As the story progresses, Ronnie’s true personality is revealed. She is a
beautiful, caring, and loving young woman, which is not at all what Sparks initially introduced her as. In the story, Ronnie leaves
her fabulous life in New
York to go
spend a summer with her father, who left her family three years ago, to live in
a small town in the south for an entire summer. Ronnie and her father didn’t get along
well; therefore the beginning of their summer had gotten off to a rocky start. As
Ronnie begins to understand why her father left, she completely changes. During
the course of the summer, Ronnie falls in love, gets convicted of a felony, and
strengthens her relationship with her father. I admire Ronnie because she is
such a dynamic character. She goes from being a rude, hateful, and angry
teenager, to being a caring, loving, and thoughtful young woman. I am like Ronnie
in few ways, yet while reading the book I felt so connected to her. To anyone
who is looking to read an amazing love story and a tear jerk-er, I would definitely
suggest “The Last Song.”
The Boy Who Never Grew Up
Have you ever wanted to remain a child? You wouldn’t have much responsibility, worry about jobs, or worry about adult problems. Your only worry would be getting a scraped knee. The main character, Peter Pan, in the book, Peter Pan, never grows up.
The fictional character, Peter, is a boy who lives in Neverland, an island in a star. Peter is the leader of five boys, who are nicknamed the Lost Boys. Since the boys are orphans and look up to Peter, he took on the role of being their guardian, as well as their friend. Peter meets a girl in the real world and takes her to Neverland. The girl, Wendy, is introduced to the lost boys who she surprisingly becomes quite fond of.
No one really wants to grow up, which is why I am like Peter Pan. I admire him because he is witty and very caring for young children. I enjoyed reading about him and his adventures.
I think everyone should make time to read about Peter Pan and fall in love with him just as I did!

Smile Bella Swan!!
When
you read Twilight do you ever see
that Bella Swan smiled after her statement or laughs at all? No! I am the
complete opposite. I love to be the clown in the group of my friends and be the
one who makes everyone laugh; Bella Swan, yea she in depressed. I can’t
understand how she can be so depressed and never laughing or joking when she
has that romance everyone looks for, even though he is a sparkling vampire. I’m
the person that you see smiling all the time, unless I’m in class and focusing,
but how can she not have some good days? In the book, the introduction is about
how she would die. Come on, think a little more positive here. Stephanie Meyer
had an amazing idea and it was incredibly entertaining , but I would love to
have a little more happiness and joy in Bella. People like to read about
romance with a kick of conflict and the fact that Edward Cullen is a vampire is
the big conflict. We don’t need a depressed girl who doesn’t know how to take
love and run with it. She kind of stalks over Edward in a really weird way
before we find out that he wants her blood!
Taken Love.
The literary character I chose in my story is "Landon" from A Walk to Remember. In the story start to relate to him because we have both had to face a difficult time with someone we love dearly to cancer. In the story the girl he falls in love with and starts to spend all of time with is diagnosed with leukemia and dies. My grandmother a few years ago was diagnosed with breast cancer, and I felt the same way Landon felt about Jamie ,the girl he loved. He was scared, lost, confused and asking why it happened to him. Landon's emotion really moved me because even though he was scared on the inside he did not want to show Jamie that he was worried because he did not want her worry. Another thing about Landon in the book that I admired about him was that hat first in the beginning of the book he didn't want anything to do with Jamie and has he spends more and more time with her he starts feeling more affectionate about her. My favorite part about the whole book is when Landon goes through and helps Jamie complete the list she has completed before she dies. Landon even learns about the depth of the human heart. A Walk to Remember is my all time favorite book because it shows how someone can change for another persons benefits.

A Relatable Charcter
Sometimes the story isn't about how it's written or even about how entertaining it is. Some of the best stories are just those that pull at your heart strings and hit home with you. When I read The Truth About Forever the pure emotions of the story and what the protagonist, Macy, was going through touched my heart and made me feel everything she felt. There were so many things that made me relate to Macy to make this story hit home for me. She had suffered a recent loss of her father and I also lost my dad when I was just four years old. The everyday problem with dealing with the loss of him weighs heavily on me, but reading about her struggles with her own loss helped me cope with mine as well. She also strived to be perfect in every aspect of her life. She wanted to be the perfect student, daughter, and friend. I also strive for perfection, but this story showed being perfect isn't always the best thing for your life. When Macy takes on a summer job in a catering company she not only has to welcome craziness and imperfection into her life she must embrace it. Macy has become one of my favorite literary characters and this story has become one of my favorite stories due to the relatability and message it sends to everyone. It has taught me to not take life too seriously and to embrace the craziness and imperfection it may bring.
Save Me Percy!
I have read many books over the years and liked so many characters, but Percy Jackson is my favorite literary character. Percy is my favorite because of his can-do attitude. Rick Riordan did an amazing job in this book displaying the right amount of suspence, action, and humor. I admire Percy Jackson because he is very courageous and because of his dare devil but also caring personality! In between going on dangerous missions Percy always made time to make his friends feel a little better. Even in the face of death he has a calm and collected attitude. He always considers all of his options and chooses the best one to save himself and others around him. I beleive I am like Percy because I am a quick thinker to solve promblems and I want to help others. Percy entertained me throuhout the entire series because of his positive and hilarous attitude. His way of growing up with a very rough childhood made me believe that anyone can do anything if they put there minds to it, no matter what the circumstances. Percy always fought for what was right, he could have just easily stopped but he never gave up. These are all of the reasons why Percy Jackson is my favorie literary character ever.
Is It Luck Or Is It Character
The literary character that I have chosen is "Logan" in the story "The Lucky One". This book is not my absolute favorite but I can very much relate to the main character.
In this story, Logan finds a picture of a beautiful woman while fighting a war and he promised himself he would one day find her. It wasn't easy but he did find her. It was because of his determination not to give up that he was able to find her.
I can relate to Logan in so many ways because when I set a goal for myself I never give up until that goal is completed or accomplished. When Logan struggled with something in life he always had a positive attitude and always tried his best, which is also one of the many things we have in common.

Weasley is Our King
To most
people Ron Weasley is just another ginger who plays a big role in a book, but
to me he is my king. Ron Weasley is Harry Potter’s right hand man. While he is
not the smartest out of his six brothers and sisters, he is surely the most memorable.
You might think that after his first encounter with dangerous magical creatures,
Ron would have left harry in the dust. However
this is not true, Ron is always there for Harry. One reason I admire this red
headed goof ball because of his loyalty to his friends and family. No matter
what the situation is, he is always ready to fight. Situations arise throughout
the series where Ron must go against his biggest fears to protect his best mate
Harry. I think this is one way Ron and I are alike; we will do anything to
protect the ones we love. Weasley’s unique sense of humor and temper are quite entertaining,
and his noble acts inspire me more than anyone else in the literary world. These are just some of the reasons why, like stated
in the fifth book, Weasley will always be my king.
Surviving With Love
Peeta is my favorite literary character. I admire his
personality. He is sweet, funny and outgoing. I thoroughly enjoy his humor
throughout the story. I’m like Peeta because I also am outgoing. Like Peeta, I
may seem shy and weak underneath, but in reality both of us are strong and have
no enemies. Peeta kept my attention by showing his love for Katniss. He made
the story line more interesting and entertaining. He also made Katniss look
better. Peeta makes you think of how you would handle the situation he was put
in. I admire his life- saving concept of romance. Peeta is an effective and
admirable literary character that improves the story line of The Hunger
Games.
The Maze Runner
My favorite literary character is Thomas from the book The Maze Runner. The story begins as Thomas wakes up in darkness. He cannot remember a single thing about himself besides his first name. He soon arrives in a place called "The Glade" where there are other teenagers in the same situation. The Glade is enclosed by massive walls that open and close every day and lead into a nearly impossible maze. The "creators" have sent teens here to see if they can figure out how to get out of the maze. There is one problem though: the maze changes every day! Some of the boys have lived in the glade for three years and still have yet to find a way out. But there is something special about Thomas. He's no super-hero, but brave and courageous. He never gives up and is determined to be what they call a "Runner". The runners go out into the maze every day to study it and try to find a way out. They must be quick, smart, and brave for many reasons. One of those reasons are that the walls close every night and if you are not back before they do, you will be stuck in the maze with terrible half-machine half-monsters. I admire this character so much because he never gives up despite the situations he must face. He does not know what he might face if he beats the maze, but he is willing to give everything to protect the people around him and find a way out. This character inspires me to live life in a way that will always be prepared to face the impossible.
Believe With Your Heart Not Your Eyes
Seeing is not always believeing. Sometimes you must have faith in something for it to be real. My favorite literary character, Finn Wittman, does not fully believe that the magic of Diseny really exists, until he becomes a part of the magic himself. Finn is a character in the book series "Kingdom Keepers". Along with his four co-DHIs (Disney Host Interactive), he has to learn to be a leader and to fight against the villans of Disney. He has to brave some of the strongest and most evil villians that Disney has ever created. The characters from the stories have come to life and have an elaborte ruse. Finn and the DHIs must fight to save everything that is Disney before it is over taken by the villians. Finn is doubtful of himself, but what he has yet to realize is all the potential that he really has. Everyone looks to him as a leader and trusts him completely with the decisions he makes. Even though he never truly acpects the title as "leader", Finn still acts as one. I think we are similar in that way, even when we don't want to do something, we still do it for the greater good. He is destined to save the World wheather he knows it or not.
Kate Wetherall
In the book The Mysterious Benedict Society, Kate Wetherall is a very intelligent and odd character. She does many things that, at first thought, would be extremely out of the ordinary. Although, on closer examination, are very well thought out and make complete sense. Her character is very brave and is not afraid of really anything. If put in a situation where she would need to jump out of a plane, she would leap out without hesitation or second thought. Kate also has a very unique way of being prepared. She carries a bucket around her waist at all times filled with very unusual things that seem to all serve a purpose at sometime in the story. Kate is also a very supportive character throughout the book. The reason why I connect so well with Kate, is that although she may seem to be extremely tough on the outside, she has a very kind heart and is a very emotional person on the inside. Kate is also a very gifted person and unlike many gifted children tend to be, she is a very social person. She is able to communicate very well with other people while still being able to be extremely gifted and talented.
Katniss is Her Name, Hunting is Her Game
I have many favorite literary characters including Percy
Jackson, Aria Montgomery, Harry Potter, Piper McLean, Rebecca Brown, and many
others. But one stands out over all. Katniss Everdeen, from The Hunger Games
trilogy, is my favorite literary character. Katniss is admired by many people,
including myself. I mainly admire her for her courage, her confidence, her bravery,
and her ability to mask her fear. She proved to me that even at the risk of
death, if you have the right strategy and think quickly, you can survive and
accomplish almost anything. Her complicated mind was constantly making me think
about what her next action would be. Katniss never gave up, due to her stubbornness.
Her mind was constantly running ideas, memories, and strategies to help her
succeed. Her bravery and courage overwhelmed me. The way she sacrificed her
life to save the ones she loved was incredible. I’m not sure if I’d have the
courage to do what she did. Katniss never let her fear show, even in the most disastrous
of times. If I was ever in any of Katniss’s situations, I would try my hardest
to be as strong and as brave as she was. Katniss and I are not alike at all; she’s
very brave and courageous, and I can barely talk in front of a large crowd without
getting sick to my stomach. Katniss’s way of hiding her emotion inspired me to
not show weakness to anyone. Even though Katniss Everdeen is simply a fictional
character, she is still a brilliant inspiration.
Living Half Alive
Vladimir
a half vampire teenage outcast from the series, The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod,
is the one character I connect the most with.
He is without his father and is still pushing on through life no matter
what is in his way, whether it be bullies or vampire hunters. It may not seem it but I do have more troubles
than it seems and when I feel down I always think of how bad it could be an
outcast form two different societies and hated by both. It instantly makes my situation seem so much
brighter. There is one major difference
between us though, he is half-vampire and I am clearly human. One thing that surprised
me when reading the book was how closely I could connect with his inner
feelings and emotions. He felt as if he had been pushed out from society just
because of the way he dressed and acted, I still have problems with people
harassing me over the way I choose to dress.
I can only say I choose to express myself the way I want, I am an
individual and do not need to follow the crowd. Reading this series and seeing
the way Vladimir acts inspired me to make my own path other than relying on
everyone to decide what is acceptable and what is not. Vladimir shows that he does not care if
someone likes him or hates him, I am just about the same I could care less if
someone does not like me at all. Unlike Vladimir I do not take insults against
my parents lightly at all. One of my wishes that I most want to come true is to
meet a real life Vladimir, not in the vampiric essence though, just someone who
has gone through similar experiences and could help me through my own.
"Excellent! I cried. "Elementary," said he.
"Excellent!
I cried. "Elementary," said he.
I know for a fact that Sherlock
Holmes is an amazing literary character, and my absolute favorite! He is a forensic genius, and he is very
sly. Sherlock is my favorite literary
character because of his rather quick and creative mind. In his series he has a quite peculiar way of
doing things, but they always pull through perfectly. Holmes has a Chuck Norris brain, minus the
round house. He’s always ready, even though he’s almost never prepared. I love Sherlock Holmes! Not just because I’m awkward, but because
he’s unpredictable with every random, and psycho decision he makes. I’m constantly being drawn to his character
due to his continuous, daring adventures of being a kooky detective. He’s one of those characters no one can ever
replace! I only wish I could be like him! He has such a rapid yet, advanced way
of critical thinking. He is a fanatic of science, shortcuts, explosions, rare
little artifacts, and being disguised as a different person. Sherlock Holmes is a literary character that
I desperately wish I was like, because of his eccentricity and his thrill for
suspicion, and excitement.
THE GIRL WHO COULD FLY!
Maximum Ride is one of the most amazing characters I have ever read about. She is brave and strong and she never gives up on her goals. No matter how hard the situation is she always prevails. She is everything that I aspire to be in life. Maximum Ride and I are not the same in any way, she has wings and I don’t, she is brave. I, on the other hand, am not brave. In fact, I am the complete opposite I am scared of my own shadow! Maximum Ride has inspired me to never give up on life and to push through my problems. The Maximum Ride series entertained me in a way that other books could never imagine doing. It was literally like a movie in book form. I highly recommend reading!
The Boy in Love with The Girl on Fire
My favorite literary character is Peeta Mellark from The Hunger Games trilogy. Peeta is a teenage boy from District 12 who is chosen in the reaping to compete in the Hunger Games. He is one out of twenty-four tributes, and they will have to fight to the death until one victor remains. Out of all twenty-four tributes there is one tribute he knows he will not be able to brutally murder. That one tribute is Katniss Everdeen. She is the other tribute from District 12. Katniss is the girl Peeta has been in love with since preschool. Throughout the first Hunger Games they go through, he sacrifices himself by joining the Careers, which is a group of highly trained tributes. By joining this group, he leads the careers in the opposite direction of Katniss to keep her safe. Peeta shows his love by protecting her. I personally believe that all true friendships shows the same care that he does. Peeta and I don’t have many similarities, but in his situation I would have done the same for the person I dearly love.
Faithful Caitlin
Caitlin O'Conner is the one literary character that has impacted my life in more ways than I can envision. Caitlin is a high school student, and begins to attend a local church in attempt to make a change in her life for the better. She makes commitments to God such as simply praying daily. As I continued to read this series I realized that Caitlin and I are only similar in few ways. We both have faced struggles and made commitments to God, but for different reasons. I admire her ability to maintain her commitments she made. Though she came close to breaking one of her commitments (not dating) during her journey, she got herself back on the right path instantly. I look up to her because of it. Caitlin has awakened me of the challenges I could potentially come face to face with in the future (people changing). I am grateful for that. I felt like I could always understand Caitlin clearly. I will remember Caitlin as one of my favorite literary character, because of the way she faced her struggles and did not give in and take the easy way out. She has made a significant impact on how I act today.
Hermione Granger
Hermione Granger ,by far, is my favorite literary character because she's courageous, daring, and willing to help her friends, Ron and Harry, when they are in need of it. She is indeed very intelligent in her studies, she knows how to help Harry fix his glasses with a spell, and all around she is just a great person. Hermione is daring for adventure. When Ron and Harry go on adventures, she's right by their sides along for the danger that lies ahead. I am like Hermione in many ways. We both try to achieve a lot in school and we both support our close friends. Hermione is a tad bit reserved. She doesn't like to talk about personal life. I am also the same way. Hermione Granger is my favorite literary character because of her bravery, she's not afraid of danger, and is willing to be a friend when a friend in need.
The Brave, Strong, Loving and Caring Katiniss Everdeen.
Katiniss Everdeen. Strong. Brave. Loving and caring all are reasons why Katiniss is by far my favorite literary character. Katiniss was strong enough to win the hunger games, a death game. She was also physically strong because of how she shoots her bow and arrow. Brave, Katiniss is co brave. She was brave enough to go into the games for her sister and her family. Katiniss also is brave by going out and hunting for game in an illegal area in her district. Loving and caring is a huge reason why she is my favorite character. She loves and cares for her sister, Prim, so much that she volunteered for her sisters spot in the games. Also, she was like Prims mom more than a sister because of her mom’s sadness. Katiniss Everdeen is an amazing person, friend, sister, and daughter. She has shown many things through her message by saying don’t be scared and always love your family. By Katiniss being strong, brave, loving and caring is why she is my favorite literary character.
Can You Taste The Lemonade?
I’ve read many books and loved many of the characters in the
stories, but the character I admire most is Charlie from Lemonade Mouth. Charlie
is a drummer in the book, which is a lot like me since I play the drums. I am
in the ninth grade at the time, and Charlie is in ninth grade too. He is also
quite smart just like me. Charlie always cracks a joke, and I do that often. I
admire him because he is calm in a bad situation. In the book he is playing at a concert but
messes up a lot, but still stays calm. I would’ve done the same thing. He is a
role model because in the story, he is just an amateur drummer and sets his
mind to playing the drums and gets a lot better. This is inspirational to me
because I am an amateur drummer and if I practice a lot then I will be good. He
entertains me because whatever someone has to say, he has something to make fun
of it with. That is why Charlie is a role model to me, and I look up to him.
The Last Dragon Rider
My favorite litereary is Eragon of the book series Inheritance. He is my favorite because is always looking out for others and wanting to shoot for the stars. I am alike him by us both aiming our sites on the stars. In the books, he is the last dragon rider and the only hope for man, elf, and the dwarves. Due to his situation, he is given great responsbility at a young age, which only cause him to mentally age much quicker. He has fought and saved the rebels from their enemies and even has sacrificed himself by being cut down the back by a possesed shade named Durza. He is awlays kind, nice, and a great person to read about. He has learned many lessons that should have not been learned.Death has even struck his family. He has no one left but a cousin, who does not know if he is dead or alive. He is overall my favorite person to read about. Christopher Paolini, hats off to you.
The Unwavering Wizard
Harry Potter is the main literary character, also my
favorite, in a seven book series called Harry Potter. Throughout this
intriguing series, Harry and his friends Ron and Hermionie are trying to find a
way to stop the worst dark wizard of all time. Now if this were I, in Harry’s
position I would turn and run in the other direction. However Harry stays
strong through seven years of being hunted down, and he eventually gets what he
deserves. He kills Voldemort. Harry revealed many qualities about himself
throughout these seven years. I have concluded that he was strong willed,
caring and brave. All of these qualities make up a great leader. This is what
Harry was throughout the story, a great leader. I pondered these qualities, and
I realized that I share most of these with Harry. I have the distinguishing
characteristics of a leader. This is why
Harry Potter is my favorite literary character.
Massie, A natural born leader!
My favorite literary character is Massie Block from The Clique. In the very popular series, Massie is a natural born leader. She is cleaver, charming, and always knows what to say and do during any type of situation. She is always there for her friends and they look up to her. She is a role model that everyone comes to for advice. Like when her friend Claire went on a date with Massie’s crush, she was completely supportive. I admire Massie very much for her cleaver wit and natural confidence, which shines off her. The qualities that Massie has are something you need to be successful in whatever you do. I say that I am like Massie in many different ways. I consider myself a leader that is always there for the people I care about. Every time I read the books I think that a person like Massie is very rare to find in real life. Even though she is a fictional character, Massie could be an inspiration to anyone. As she once said, “I’d rather be a friendless loser than have a lot of friends who secretly hate me.”
When Being Different Can Save Your Life
The character that I find the most interesting and inspiring is Beatrice Prior. She is the main character in the Divergent Series. She lives in a world where people are divided into 5 factions, Candor for truth, Eudite for knowledge, Abnegation for selflessness, Dauntless for bravery and Amity for peace. Born into an Abnegation family, her entire life has been about others. But she is not a regular Abnegation girl, she is Divergent. On testing day, the day 16 year old's choose their faction, she finds out she is Divergent. Her test results show she is Dauntless and Abnegation. She must now make a choice, her family or her destiny. She chose destiny. This story sends you through countless twists and turns as her true personality starts to show. Never knowing what will happen next, she must face it all or die trying. During her ordeal, she transforms from a shy, remote girl to a seemingly natural leader and must save her factions in the process. During the story line, the Dauntless compound is taken over, and its members brainwashed, and her Divergence is the only thing that stands in the way of her becoming a tool for the Eudite.
I think I am like Beatrice because, I am usually shy and split between two situations. Although I can't say for sure if I am immune to brainwashing, I can at say least have a little in common with my favorite literary character.

Arrows, Braids, and Surviving Skills
Arrows, Braids, and
Surviving Skills
While some of
my favorite characters are Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Hermione Granger, and
Zoey Redbird, one character stands out as my favorite. The Hunger Games
well-known Katniss Everdeen has captured my attention along with many others.
Her strong, determined personality reminds me of myself along with her looks,
talents, and actions. The author of the Hunger Games trilogy, Suzanne Collins,
did a fantastic job at creating a character that I can relate to. I admire the fact that Katniss volunteered in
place of her little sister, Prim, in the grueling Hunger Games. She faced her
enemies with determination to get back to her friends and family in District
12, her home, even when no one believed in her except for Peeta Mellark who was
in love with her. She also never gave up on Peeta even when he was increasing
her chances of getting eliminated. She nursed her friend back to health and
they managed to win against all odds. She also stood up to what she believed
and what she thought was the right thing to do. She stood up to the Capitol
that ran the country’s actions and throughout the trilogy won a rebellion that
she had formed. She was the true victor in the end despite what some people may
think. Her strength got her to so many places in her life and it got her
through all the losses she had put up with. She is my favorite character mostly
because she’s someone I can look up to whether she’s real or not. She’s a
character you can want to be like.
El Power Ranger Rojo
There’s something about the color red that gets me going, it makes me feel like I can do anything. My favorite childhood super hero was the Red Power Ranger. I admired the Red Power Ranger for many different reasons. First, because he was a leader and I always wanted to be a leader. I also admired him because he was red, my favorite color. And the last reason I admired him was because the red Power Ranger usually got the prettier of the two girl Power Rangers. I would say that I’m more like my character than not. We’re alike because I would consider myself to be a leader. Also, the girls that I get are always the prettier ones, so that’s aways a plus. The Red Power Ranger entertained me in almost every way you could think, from how I ate, to how I talked. He made me think that I needed to train to be a pro Power Ranger, so everyday I would go outside and practice my fighting skills on the trampoline. He also kept me outside instead of being inside all day in my parents’ hair. The Red Power Ranger had a significant impact on the person I am today.
