Taken Love.

   The literary character I chose in my story is "Landon" from A Walk to Remember. In the story  start to relate to him because we have both had to face a difficult time with someone we love dearly to cancer. In the story the girl he falls in love with and starts to spend all of time with is diagnosed with leukemia and dies. My grandmother a few years ago was diagnosed with breast cancer, and I felt the same way Landon felt about Jamie ,the girl he loved. He was scared, lost, confused and asking why it happened to him. Landon's emotion really moved me because even though he was scared on the inside he did not want to show Jamie that he was worried because he did not want her worry. Another thing about Landon in the book that I admired about him was that hat first in the beginning of the book he didn't want anything to do with Jamie and has he spends more and more time with her he starts feeling more affectionate about her. My favorite part about the whole book is when Landon goes through and helps Jamie complete the list she has completed before she dies. Landon even learns about the depth of the human heart. A Walk to Remember is my all time favorite book because it shows how someone can change for another persons benefits.
