The
dictionary’s definition of love is a profoundly, tender, passionate affection
for another person or a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection.
On some terms this definition is correct, but it does not quite cover the deep
meaning.
Love is a
passionate feeling, one you can not control, one you can not help to feel. Love
is a deep caring for a person. Love is realizing you would do anything for
someone. Mothers often feel this way about their children. Children often feel
attached to their mothers. This is because they love each other. If you love your
spouse, fiancé, or girlfriend/boyfriend, then this love is a little different.
You still have a deep caring for them, feel attached, and would do anything for
them, but it’s more on a personal level. More of an interest in someone. More
of a longing for one another.
Some say
anger is just love disappointed. In my family, a lot of them have a hard time
showing their love. So they show it in different ways. Whether it be yelling,
punishing, or taking your phone away; it’s all for the best. It’s because love
comes in different forms. Most of which we don’t recognize. It’s holding the
door open for someone, it’s saying thank you, it’s washing your dishes when you
are done eating.
Love can
come in many different shapes and sizes. Whether it be carrying someone’s bags
or taking a bullet for them. Love is love. And we all could use some of it.
i agree with you that love comes in different forms. also i agree that love is love. great post!
