What Is Love?

There are many different types of love. Love between a husband and wife, between a mother and daughter, between an owner and its pet, etc. are just a few to name. Sometimes you can see the love in people's eyes when they talk about their favorite things. Examples are an athlete with their favorite sport or a Christian with their faith. Love is nothing you can see or grab. Love is simply a mutual feeling between two living things that can't be without one another. Many use the phrase "in love" as if nothing in this world can take you out of it. Love can be destroyed as easily as it was made. The wrong timing, wrong feelings, wrong person can all be ways, which in some cases, can be proof that love is not as perfect as people phrase it to be. On the other hand, love can be so right. So many books, movies, plays, and poems are based on the simple four-letter word, yet no one can give a right definition of it. To me, love can be fake. Girls are in love with the idea of love so they label any kind of happiness with another as love and boys love with their eyes and rarely with their hearts. The phrase "I love you" is abused in many ways. Love puts people in a state of mind that anything is possible in its name. Some say that love is the most powerful emotion a person can feel. It overtakes every fiber in your being, weaving its way through your soul and killing you from the inside out. It deteriorates your common sense, causing you to do stupid things all in the name of love. In my opinion, love is the most difficult word to describe, share and confess.

    1. I completely agree with this.
Love doesn't have one specific definition. It means many different things to different people.
