Love Never Fails

The Webster definition of love is a profoundly tender and passionate affection for another person. I find that it is nearly impossible to define the word “love”. Love can be different for everyone. My definition of love would be finding that special someone who makes you feel important, who you could spend every second of everyday with. Love will have its times where it makes you upset, you will have silly fights, and some big fights, but true love is learning to forgive after stupid little fights, to be yourself around them and know they don’t care what you do as long as you are being you. This quote from 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 is a great way to define love. "Love is patient; love is kind; It does not envy; it does not boast; it is not proud; It is not rude. It always protects, trusts, and perseveres. Love never fails." Love is something that you will deal with from the day you were born to the day you leave this Earth. It is an emotion that you will live with forever, whether you are searching for it, experiencing it, or wishing it never existed. The only love I know right now are the love for my family, friends, and God. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful people in my life who love me they do. My love for my family has been with me since I was born. My parents have done absolutely everything they can do to raise me right and keep me happy. They are here to support me with whatever decisions I make in life, good or bad. I know they love me endlessly without ceasing. Without them I would not be the person I am today. When I finally found the right people to hang out with they have stayed by my side since day one. They are always here for me and I will always be here for them. To have friends you can truly count on is one of the greatest feelings in the world. I love each and every one of them. My love for God grows each and every day. He will be the one by my side 24/7 when my family and friends aren’t. He is the only relationship you will ever have that lasts. God is the person I think loves the most. Although love is a great thing and once found should be cherished, it also can cause people a great deal of pain. Love is not always a happy feeling. When you feel you have a strong desire to be with someone and then they don’t feel the same way in return, you could get really depressed for a while. Love, if given to the wrong person, can be very bad on you and your self esteem. No one should be afraid to love, it’s a natural feeling that everyone gets. Love is just a word until you find that special someone to give you the definition.
