A Very Deep Emotion...Love

Love is a very confusing topic. Many people use the word "love" loosely. Some people just say it at the drop of a hat. I have to admit, I have done this before with past girlfriends. I always think that I truely love them and I am going to be with them forever. But the truth is, I do not know what true love is at my age. I recently had a girlfriend and just three days ago we broke up. I seriously thought that I "loved" this girl, but now I know that I really did not "truely" love her. Plenty of people make this same mistake. My mom told me that when I truely love a girl, I will be able to feel it and it is a feeling that you have never felt before. She said it is a feeling that is hard to describe and that it just makes you feel so happy inside. Love is a very deep emotion that must be different from any other. Me and just about every other ninth grader do not know what true love is yet as much as we would like to think we do. We just need to be patient and wait for God to put the right person in our life. Then we will be truely happy with the phrase "love."
