What "Love" Means to Me
To most, love is just a lie. Saying,"I love you" loses its truth more and more everyday. From the mouth of a better man than I,"Love is just a way to get to get into some one's pants." Everyone just wants to be happy and they believe that saying they love someone will bring them happiness. But in reality, all it does is lead to the heartbreak of a plastic love. People base their love on looks and could care less about the true compatibility. Having said that, I must add that true love does exist. A perfect example being my grandparents, married for forty nine years, two children, and still their love is bright and powerful. That is true love, going through life with somebody who truly means the world to you. I strongly believe that "love at first sight" is absolutely ridiculous. That is basing your love completely on looks and that is ridiculous. One day I hope to be able to experience a true love and not a fake, plastic love.

haha i love the fact that i was quoted, but that aside i really enjoyed the message that was conveyed. I also enjoyed the comparing of love to plastic,i thought that was very smart. Over all, awesome blog.

ReplyDeleteI totally 100% agree with this blog. There definitely is a difference between these loves and I think you did a great job explaining them. You seem to now what you are talking about and congragulations to your grandparents!
