God Is All I Need

Wang Lung's constant is his land. No matter if Wang Lung drifts away from is his land for a little while, he always comes back. My constant is God. Mine and Wang Lung's constants are very similar because I might drift away from God for a while but I'll always come back. No matter where I turn, God is always there. God will always be there for me just as Wang Lung's land is there for him. I can count on God to be there for me. If I'm having problems, I pray to God so I know I can count on him to fix my problems. Being in church gives me a sense of security. I can listen to the message the preacher gives and use it in real life knowing God will always be by my side. That is all the security I need. I consider my relationship with God very valuable. Without God I would get nowhere in life. I would have no hopes and dreams of going to Heaven when I die. Wang Lung would never be anything if it wasn't for his land just like I will be nothing without God who sent His son to die on the cross for us.
