The Posession You Can't See

          There are many different things that people find security and value in. It could be something such as the land, like Wang Lung. It could also be a much more common item, such as money. For a little kid it could be a really cool toy car or for an adult it could be a really expensive sports car. I do not believe you can ever truly find security in these items though. They might help you find security or comfort, but only temporarily. They are all material possessions and can be lost in an instant, without warning or reason.

          The only thing that I think can give someone a true sense of security and comfort is a relationship with god. It can never be lost unannounced because it is your decision to have it in the first place. It gives me security and peace because I know that it will never go away unless it is my decision. It costs you no money and you don't have to be popular to get it, and in turn, it is priceless and you will never be alone. In my opinion it is the most valuable thing you could ever posses.
