Everything happens for reason. If you were to go on a red light and not stop at a green light it would cause a wreck to happen. If you were to say mean things to someone it would hurt their feelings. These are two examples of things that have an effect of what you do or what happens because of something. In the story Eddie ran out into the middle of the road and got the basketball since he chose to make that mistake it cause the Blue Man to have a heart attack and die. The cause was that Eddie had run out into the middle of the road in the effect of that was that the Blue Man died.
"That there are no random acts.” This part of the quote means that you don't need to do something because you want to, it is already planned out for you. "That we are all connected." This part of the quote means that every act has a consequence rather it be good or bad. “That you can no more separate when my from another then you can separate breeze from the wind." This part of the quote means that you cannot separate one from another it has a chain reaction. If you do one thing something is going to happen because of it. You cannot just do one thing, if you do one thing you going to do another.
This whole quote basically means that if you go in and do one thing you need to think because if not you can end up hurting someone or killing someone that you never thought of. It is a chain reaction, everything happens for a reason. No matter how hard to try for something good to happen something bad could come out of it. Therefore, there are no random acts everything is connected.
