Random acts

In the book "The five people you meet in heaven". The main character Eddie meets the blue man who tells "That there are no random acts we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you separate the the breeze from the wind." What this means is that every action that happens will affect someone else. But we will never really understand this because we are taught that no life is the same that we are all different. So we think that its impossible for some one else we do not know to change our life.
In the story Eddie and the blue man life connect because when Eddie was younger he ran in to the road after his toy and was almost hit by a car. On the other side a man with a weak heart driving car saw a child running in the road and he has to swerve out of the way of the kid. After having to react to the kid the man has a massive heart attack and later dies that day. this is what connected the blue man and Eddie this one little moment.
If we take this quote in a major way. It could be good or harmful to me. But they would not know it and I would not know who did it.
