Making of a Hero
Many things can make a hero. The most important thing about being a hero is being there for someone when you are needed. You cannot be a hero if you are not available for somebody when they are having a crisis. It doesn't matter if you are a teacher helping a student get a better grade on a test, or the president helping us out of a recession. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. They come from all walks of life. There are heroes all around us in our daily lives. We would not be able to live without them.8 Even if you don't see the people around you doing something heroic, they might save someone in an hour or two. It could be by pulling them out of a burning building. It could also be by just talking to them and making their day a little better. Look around you right now and see how many you can count, or wait until tomorrow and see how many heroic acts are preformed.

A Hero

When people think of the word "hero" many different people come to mind. They may think of Batman, Superman, Spider-man or maybe they think of a fireman, policeman, or soldier. Not many people think of the regular everyday people who are heroes. A hero, in my opinion, is anyone who makes a positive difference in someones life. My mother is a hero to me. She gives me a home and food and all of the other things necessary for life. Actors are heroes to some people. If you have a dream of being on stage or in a movie you might look up to an actor or actress. Singers, scientists and surgeons are heroes. In the eyes of most children super humans are heroes. When people understand more about life and the world they realize heroes are more than men in tights, heroes are ordinary people who do extraordinary things. Surgeons save lives, policemen make cities safe, parents teach you life lessons. Anyone can be considered a hero and everybody has a different hero. It all depends on who has changed your life and who you look up to.

What Makes a Hero?

To me a hero is someone who is a great role model. Someone who can endure. They do their best to maintain integrity. They are honest about who they are and never try to be something they are not. When troubles come their way they do not give into temptation, they stand their ground and and refuse to give up. Heroes are those who do not quit. They never say they can't. When someone tells them that something is impossible they set out to prove them wrong, because in their mind nothing is impossible. Heroes are not focused on whether they win or lose, but what they learn from the situation. Their heads are never hung down. They are those who do not put others down to make themselves feel better. Heroes have determination and set out to meet their goals at all risk.

Hero in my Eyes

In my eyes, a hero is someone to look up to. They never back down from anything, nor do they promote conflicts. Heroes always have your back no matter what. If anyone has a problem, then they go to whom ever their hero is. A hero does not always have to have super strength or sonic speed. A hero can be anyone from a cop to a friend. There are lots of unsung heroes out in the world such as cops, firefighters, doctors, nurses and even teachers. No one really sees how a teacher can be a hero, but that just shows how close they really do not pay attention. Teachers save people from their own stupidity and educate them. Heroes help by saving someone from a burning building. They can also help just by giving someone some advice on a situation. Heroes are all around us, we just have to look more closely to see them.

Heros are believers.

I believe a hero is anyone who is willing to stand up for their beliefs, country, or rights. If you strongly believe that it is your duty to serve in the military and others disagree you should stand up and be a hero. Our military men and women are the heros in my eyes. If someone are ready and willing to die doing what you believe is right, then you are a hero. Heros are also the people who have pulled through a very tough situation such as an illness. If someone has a disease and they fight against it and help in ways to cure it, then they are the heros. Heros are people who are not afraid and not distrought but instead they fight and push to the fullest. A fireman saves people from burning buildings. Many people believe it is a risky job, but the firman is a hero. He is not a hero because he is willing to risk his life for others, but because he believes in himself to help save others even when others disagree. Anyone who serves their country is a hero because the believe it is their duty as a citizen of these 50 United States. Heros many be people willing to risk their lives, but it is because they believe it is what makes them that special hero.

What is a Hero?

A hero, have you ever thought of what makes someone a hero? To me a hero is someone that helps others, goes out of their way to protect others, and is an all around nice person. My hero is not a family member, or someone that i even know personally. My hero is our soliders that fight in the line of duty everyday to give our great country freedom. If it were not for these great individuals who knows where the world would be today. Our soliders are my heros because they have the bravery to fight on the front line of duty to protect millions of people that they do not even know. That takes courage. They fight for our country everyday not knowing if they will make it out of battle. Not knowing if tomorrow will come can be hard. Not only all of that but they spend months and sometimes years away from family and friends, risking that they may never see them again. Those actions show true love for our country. That is what makes a solider my hero.

A Hero

When someone thinks of a hero, strength, the ability to fly, and speed come to mind, but these abilities do not necessarily make someone a hero. A hero is someone who is strong and defiant. It is someone who will never back down from any challenge that faces them. They will fight for what they believe in, and they will be there to help others. A hero is someone who people can turn to and depend on in a time of need, or any time. They are someone to look up to, and someone to believe in. In my opinion, an example of a hero is someone in the National Guard. A person in the National Guard is strong and willing, and they will fight for what they believe in. They are also there for others when they need them, such as during the aftermath of natural disasters. I believe that a person in the National Guard is a prefect example of a hero, however, every one's view of heroes are different, and that is why we all have our own hero.

My hero

I believe that doing good things that can impact someones life makes someone a hero. Simply being kind to someone can make someone a hero in someone Else's eyes. I believe that the great heroes are the people that really make a difference in the world. By my definition, I consider my grandma a hero because she is the most caring and kind hearted person that I have ever met. She puts other people before herself and she will go out of her way to help anyone that needs it. She has a way of making people feel happy and great about themselves just by talking to them for a few minutes. Not only does she help out me and my family but she will also help out anyone in need, including complete strangers. For example, on her refrigerator there are pictures of children at St. Jude that she sends money to every month. She also gives sixty dollars to her church every Sunday. She is such an amazing person and she does not even know it. Anyone would be lucky to know her. Based on my definition on what makes a hero, I believe that my grandma is my hero and I truly do not know what I would do without her.

What Makes a Hero.

Super strength, lightning speed, and heat vision come to mind when I think of heros. I overlook many heros that I see everyday. Real heros are caring and loyal. I believe teachers are heros in many ways. They spend countless hours trying to give students a worthy eduation. Another would be my parents. My mother and father make sure I am fed and take time to bring me places. They provide everything for me. I believe real heros are in natural disguise such as everyday people not looking for any special recognition. The heros never ask for things in return. Heros cherish helping others.

What Makes A Hero

To most people a hero is someone with super powers and always beats the villain. My definition of a hero is someone that inspires you or changes your life. A hero is someone willing to do anything to help a person, even if it is a life or death situation. Heroes are brave, fearless, and bold. Policemen and firemen are good examples of heroes. They risk their lives everyday for the safety and well being of others. Heroes are unselfish and put others before themselves. A hero could be your parents or grandparents. They take the time to take care of you and give you what you need. They are there for you in your time of need and your time of happiness. Heroes give up their needs to make others happy. That is what a hero is to me.

What is a true Hero??

So, one of my favorite movies is Disney's Hercules. During the whole movie, the main character is trying to become a true hero to get back to Olympus. He does all of these amazing feats, defeats many monsters, and becomes famous ,basically, over night. He goes to talk to his father, Zeus, and he tells him of all the things he's done and that he has an action figure even modled have him. But Zeus say that he's done great things but that doesn't make you a true hero, "he's just not there yet." Hercules doesn't understand that, I mean, he defeated everything that comes up against him, has adoring fan girls and everyone know him, why isn't he there yet? Well, it's because he hasn't learned that heroes need strong hearts and not just strong muscles. So, is that what makes a true hero? A strong heart, that's what makes a hero. Some one who is selfless and kind. They want to do good for other people they know and strangers. That what a true hero is, atleast to me.

A Hero

I believe that bravery is a huge quality in being a hero. Someone that has made other lives better and in that process had to overcome obstacles. I consider someone that fights for our country being a hero. By serving for us they get injured and sometimes die, but when they take that risk they know that they are saving a life or even many lives in the process. To be a hero is an honor, and I look up to our hero's. Hero's can be a variety of people. It can even be animals. Think about all the dogs the help the police find the "bad guys". Even sometimes when the dogs are helping the firemen to go and get somebody out of a fire. Those dogs are hero's. They are saving peoples lives by risking theirs. In the end though, a hero is defined different by each individual person that has their own definition. A hero can be someone who gave a lonely child some confidence because they were feeling down that day, and maybe they were even considering suicide but that one person made a difference. That right there to me is a hero.

Heros

Heroes come in many different shapes and sizes. I am not talking about television or comic book heroes. I am talking about the people that do the little things in daily life, like cheering up a crying three month old baby. Heroes just do things that people appreciate, like other people have said on this blog, heroes do not need to save lives to be considered a hero, they just need to do what they are suppose to do and maybe just a little more. They can be anything from parents to the hard working people that make up America. From people that work to help fight disease to people who invent technology designed for the disabled. People who volunteer time in a shelter to people have a role-model like life. They can be dead or alive and they can still set an example for people who need guidance. Things that characterize a hero are things like the ability to control their temper and hold down a good job to support their family. They have a drug free life with good morals and ethics. A family that actually stays together for life. They do not say "Till death do you part." for nothing. These are just a few qualities of a family hero. There are many good qualities that can make an everyday person a hero.

A Hero

To me, a hero is someone who has qualities that others admire. This person is a good role model for others. A hero doesn't have to save an old lady from a burning building or rescue a cat from a tall tree. A hero should be intelligent, strong, and bold. People should go to a hero for advice and comfort. A hero isn't perfect and they may fail sometimes. The only thing that matters is how they deal with that failure. A hero should pick themselves up and keep going. My hero would have to be my sister, Kayla. When I grow up, I want to be like her. She is my definition of a hero. She may not save the day, but she's always there for me no matter what.

Who is a hero?

Hero is such a powerful word because of what it resembles. People think that it takes many activities to become a hero such as saving a person's life. It can be a gift that you think is a little something for a friend of foe, but it can mean the world to that person. You could be their hero. An example of a hero is someone who is willing to give to others. You do not have to have special powers or physical abilities to be a hero. If you give to the poor or send food to another country that is suffering, you are some one's hero. A person that I know that gives to others is my mom. She is a nurse that operates in the emergency room. She saves lives every single day. She becomes a hero almost everyday. She gives up her time to help others who are in pain. Try to help others or just be a good friend to others and see how many of them look up to you like a hero.
