Jehovah: My BFF

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.  ~Deuteronomy 31:6

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.   ~Psalm 18:2



  I love my family. They are very loving and understanding towards me. I have truly been blessed by my large family. I love my friends. They know the raw, crazy me and put up with it anyway. They have really blessed me. However, all of the people I love most are human. And, therefore, they are imperfect. Whether I like it or not, they will fail me and hurt me because they are imperfect humans. Although I love them, this is the way of life.
  However, I have chosen to place my faith in something more resolute. Not just something, but someone. Jehovah: God of Israel, Father of Christ, The All-Powerful, The Almighty, The Unshakable, The Indescribable, The Uncontainable, The Unmovable, The Merciful Father, The Loving Father, God. God is the most important thing in my life. As it says in scriptures, He will never leave me, even if I try to leave Him. He will love me even when I let him down. He will forgive me no matter how many times I cross Him. He will never and can never let me down. I cannot grasp His crazy love. I truly cannot describe how wonderful my God is.
