My Brother

As the dependent people we are, we all need that one thing to give us a since of security and peace. Some people will rely on their faith, their friends, or even a toy. In the book The Good Earth, Wang Lung gives his all into the land. To Wang Lung, the land gives him that sense of peace and healing that everyone needs. His land has healed him numerous times and he feels renewed when he works in it. To me though, my place of peace and security is when I am with my older brother. My brother is one of the most valuable things in my life. I am able to go to Jerrod for anything and everything. To ya'll, he may just appear as my brother, but to me, he is one of the most important people I know. Jerrod is a one of a kind person and is always willing to help when it is needed. My brother to me is like the land to Wang Lung. He is my healer, my sense of security and peace, and he is my family.
