My Little Life
When someone asks me what I care about, I say my family. But then again, isn't that every one's answer? If someone asked me what I couldn't live without, I would say my sister. My sister, who is 5 years younger than me, is always there for me when my friends, family, and everything else isn't. I know that she's not going anywhere, and I can always count on her to make me feel better. She gives me a sense of security, not exactly how a policeman might, much more than that. I know that if something bad happens in my life, my sister will be the one to make me see the brighter side of things. I count on her to help me through those bad days we all have. In the chaos we all know as high school, with all those teenagers packed together for eight hours a day with raging hormones, I can count on my sister to bring a sense of peace, and regularity to my day. She's the most self less person I know, always willing to give up anything for anyone, and rarely ever thinking of her own happiness. I would do anything to protect her, no matter the consequence. She's the most valuable thing in my life and that's not going to change.

i know exactly how you feel. I feel the same way about my little brother. Albeit he is but only two years of age and can't really comfort me when i'm distressed, he helps me in so many ways he could never comprehend. he is the highlight of my life and the most important thing in the world to me. i would do anything and give up anything for him. i was going to do my blog about him but felt bad about singling out one of my six siblings as the best and my favorite. especially since he has never intentionally done anything for me, but he has definitely helped me more than any of the rest of hem could have dreamed of. and he doesn't even know it and i think that is what makes him so great.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about my younger cousin. He is four years younger than me and is the highlight of my day when I get to see him.
