Security
In the book The Good Earth, Wang Lung finds security in his land. He cannot stand to be away from it for too long. Everyone has something that brings us security like Wang's land does to him. For me, this is my family. They are always there for me when I need them. I feel that I can always trust them. The two sides of my family are complete opposites. This has made me into the person I am today. They encourage me to do my best at all times. They are crazy but this does not affect my feeling of security in them. They also act as a vent for my anger at times. I love my family and they give me a constant feeling of security.
