L O V E

When you are young, love seems to be one of the most complicated emotions to have. One minute you can feel like everything is going right and your floating on a cloud, but love can also turn sour and make you feel like everything is falling into pieces, literally. Love can be very scary because we are unable to control it; love can strike you at any moment without your control or even a warning. Love can also be very complicated because once love grows, it can fade, but it never truly goes away permanently. When I think of love, a particular person comes to mind, Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhi worked long and hard to show everyone how to love and one of his quotes goes as follows: "Love never claims, it ever gives; love never suffers, never resents, never revenges itself. Where there is love there is life; hatred leads to destruction." Mahatma Gandhi. I honestly do think that love makes the world go 'round. Care, hope and peace can all be found in love. Love has affected my life a great deal. My parents have divorced, which led me to think that true love does not really exist, but after looking into it, love is real. The love we received from Jesus Christ is real, the love for your sister or brother is real love, and the love you have for yourself is real also. I don't think I'll ever really understand love, but for the mean time, I'm just going along with the madness.

My views on Love.

Love is truly the most complicated of all the emotions, it is the only one that can make a person feel like they are floating on air one minute, and make life completely miserable the next. Love can honestly be blamed for most daydreams and failed assignments in class because when you love someone, they are the one and only thing going through your mind. This can go for both the good and the bad. Heartbreak, for example, is so horrible simply because the one thing that you have been thinking about for so long is suddenly just supposed to be gone. Whether it be unrequited, for a family member, or for a romantic interest, love is the strongest feeling you will ever experience. It is so strong in fact, that it never goes away. Once you love someone, you love them forever. Love can grow weaker with time apart but it will never completely fade. Love is dangerous and should most definitely come with a warning label, cause once you're in, there's no getting out.

Love

Love is a profound tender, affection for another person. A quote by Douglas Yates comes to my mind when I think of love, “People who are sensible about love are incapable of it”. Love is an emotion that we can't control. It is something that overwhelms logic and common sense. Love is something so powerful, yet so indescribable. Love is full of, compassion, forgiveness and, happiness. There is no way to understand why we love, who we love, or what we love. There are so many different kinds of love you can experience. For example, I love God, my family, and friends. At the same time, I love my dogs and my cell phone too, and all the things that I love I love them in different ways. I personally have not experienced the amazing and joyous rollercoaster of true love with my significant other, and I look forward to all the ups and downs of love.

LOVE

What is love? I have never heard a right or wrong answer. There might not ever be a right or wrong answer. Love to me is a very strong emotion that is shown to the ones that you truly care about. Love affects everyone’s lives. Anyone can love. Love can be happy and simple or very complicated and/or sad. When you love someone, you trust them with everything and you should want the best for them. No one can make you as happy or as sad as the person that you love.
It could be your first time or you could love over and over again.I belive that a person will love more than one other person before they find the one they want to be with for the rest of their life. There may not be an exact definition of love, but we all know how it feels .The feeling of love is mutual between two people.

Love

One of the more complicated questions that has ever popped into the minds of man seems like an elementary one, but when you think about it, it is not quite that simple. What is love? To me, love cannot be summed up in one word. I do not believe in love at first sight, because when you think about it, that is only taking into consideration the person's outer beauty. But love is so much more than that. Love cannot be defined in a sentence. I dont even think I can define it in this whole paragraph. I am not saying that looks don't matter, but if that is the only reason for loving someone then you might as well not love at all. I have never been in love, yet I feel like I could guess what it is like. I believe love is when u feel so strongly for someone that they are all you can think about. It is when you love them so much that when your not around them the only thing you can think about is being around them. It is a pure feeling that you have towards someone that nothing can shake. It is that special feeling that you have when you know the most wonderful person you have ever met feels the same way about you. When you love someone you stand be them through thick and thin and always be faithful. That, is what love is.

LOVE

Love to me is a very strong emotion that is shown to the one that you truly care about. Love can be happy and simple or very complicated or sad. Love can be found in mostly every one's life. It can be either at home or at school. Love can be found at home when parents care about their children and when children appreciate what their parents are doing for them. Then, love can be found at school when best friends care and watch out for eachother. Being able to care and watch out for someone else first, you must love yourself. Worring about little flaws that are not worth it, and it can take time up , so there wont be any time for someone else. Love can be shown in many ways to others. Making a card, or even doing a simple action for someone, can be a way to show love from one to another. Evening saying, "I love you" is another way to show or tell someone that you care about them. Saying in total, love to me is very different in many ways, and it can make you very emotional.

Love

I believe love is an emotion related to a sense of strong affection. Passion is love. Love is a roller coaster. No one can control or predict love. To me, love is very special. To some others, it is scary because people can get hurt. I believe love is worth everything. Love is never forgetting. I do not believe love can happen over a few days, but rather over a long period of time. Real love lasts forever. At a young age, I believe we can actually can love.

What is love?

When most people think of love, they think of a spouse or a family member. However, most people overlook different kinds of love that people share every day. One of them is when people play for an athletic team, they form a special bond with their team mates. For example, on a football team, the players have to trust each other. They have to trust their team mate will make their block, help out on a tackle, or throw a good pass. These team mates learn to love and trust each other like a family. Another form of love is the love shared between best friends. A true best friend loves you and is there for you when you need them. They have your back through thick and thin, no matter what the problem is. Best friends will do anything for each other. I love my friends and I would do anything for any of them. Love is not a complicated thing. Either you love someone or you don't love them.

Definition of Love

The definition of love is an arguable subject amongst people. Sometimes, it is questionable whether it has a definition or not. To me, love is a profoundly tender, passionate affection for someone else. It is also a connection between two people where you can share all of your feelings and would risk your life for eachother. Love has played a mediocre part in my life. Most of my relationships where rather short or meaningless. I have been in very few relationships where I actually "loved" the other person. Love means a lot to me when I am actually in love. It is all I think about when I am in love with someone and it gives me a joy that nothing can fade. Love is shown to others by actions taken that gives the other person joy or strong happiness. Love can be shown by many ways, like being yourself, showing affection, devoting your time to them, and making sure they are content. This special connection between two people may even have many meanings. But this is what it means to me.

Love

Love is a very powerful thing. To me love is a feeling that can either be very simple, or that can be complicated at the same time. When I think of love I usually think of interpersonal love. Interpersonal love is the love between each and every one of us. That can be with your family, your pets, your job, and couples in general. With Romeo and Juliet they share a love so special that it seems that you could not love somebody that much. Not everybody has experienced true love, and I hope that everybody can experience such a wonderful feeling once in their life. I have not yet found true love, but I know when I do I will know it is there and that it is one of the most special feelings you can ever possibly feel. I do not think love can be truly defined because love is something that is felt different to different people. We all have our different opinions on love, as we always will but that does not make it any less special.

The Definition of Love

To define something, is to make it clear and make it's significance known. Love cannot be completely defined. It is not clear to very many people and most can't comprehend it's meaning. For every person, love is different, it may be simple for some yet complicated for others. In some cases, love can bring healing to the heart, or it can bring pain and hurting. The first word that comes to my mind when I think about love, is "unconditional". When you truly love someone or something, you love them unconditionally. This means that, through absolutely everything, you always love them. There is not one thing that could alter your love for them in any way. When you get married you vow to love your spouse: You comfort, honor and keep them, in sickness and in health, for rich or for poor, for better or for worse, in sadness and in joy, to have and to hold as long as you shall live. However, this is not the only kind of love. There is brotherly or sisterly love, the love of friends and friendships, and passionate love for something you do, such as a job or sport. Love has the power to conquer all.

What Is Love?

“Love is patient; love is kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and is not proud. Love is not rude, is not selfish, and does not get upset with others. Love does not count up wrongs that have been done. Love takes no pleasure in evil but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, trusts all things, hopes all things, endures all things” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. In my opinion this describes perfectly what love is. Love is a strong word. When you love someone you are willing to do anything for that person. Love is caring about someone more than you care about yourself. It isn’t something that’s jealous or selfish. In fact it’s the complete opposite. According to its definition love is a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend. Whether the love is between family, friends, or even couples, it’s a special connection and without it we’d all be lost. Loving someone doesn’t mean you just love the good things about that person, its loving everything about them, including their flaws. Love can be shown in many ways such as doing nice things for others or maybe even by sacrificing something for another. Love can even be shown through a simple smile or kind word. Sometimes it’s the small things that show the most love.

Love to me...

Love is a strong affection one feels to someone else. When you love someone, you trust them with everything and truly want the best for them. You'd give almost anything for them to be happy, or to be with them. I honestly haven't had very much experience with love. I've never been in a relationship. So love doesn't really affect my life very much. But I love my parents and my two little brothers. To me, love is a very complicated thing. I know it's supposed to be great, but with what kinds of things I see on an average day at school, love can cause a lot of drama and conflict. People in love can do a lot of crazy things, one example is the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. Love can be expressed in many ways, like cheering up that special someone when they're upset, or giving your brother/sister a hug. And, the way I see it, there are different kinds of love, like brotherly love, loving family, or romantically.

love...

What is love? Is there a true definition for it? to me love is a strong, positive affection for someone or something. For that person/idea/object to be able to brighten your day, with only thinking of them. Although the meaning of love is different for every person. You know you love someone if your willing to do anything for that person to make them happy. Love can be shown in different ways, to different people, in different languages and different cultures. Love is a huge part of every ones lives. It can make an impact on your life or influence a decision in your life. Love can be shared through many things, such as a parent and a child, a brother and a sister, though a pet or activity. Everyone has someone they love or someone who loves them making it a common denominator between people. Love helps people learn and grow. everyone has someone they love or who loves them, even if they do not know it.

What is Love?

I say love is not a feeling, you can not feel it you experience it. Love is hard to talk about because not everybody experiences it. When people do ''feel'' (for lack of a better word) love they can't always explain it. It is felt differently for everyone. I know I have never felt true love, but one day I hope I can experience what it is like. I would say love would be when you care about someone so much that you always want to be with them (not stalk them, be with them), that you would do anything in your power to make them happy, and would defy any rules that say you can't be with them (like Romeo and Juliet just without the death part). I would hope that whenever someone loves a person the other person feels the same, but sometimes it doesn't work that way and love can hurt you very bad or it could make you very happy. That is my view on what love is.

All About Love

Love is an amazing thing. To love someone is to have a deep feeling of affection for that person. When you love someone you will do anything for them and you will go to great lengths to make them happy. For the most part, true love is undying and no one can make you as happy or as sad as the person that you love. Love is not a fairy tale, it is complicated and sometimes different than how it is portrayed in the movies and romance novels. Love is usually a great thing, but not always. For example, when you love someone that does not return your love. Also, when you love someone that you can not be with for some reason. There are two different kinds of love, being in love with someone or loving your family and friends. For example, when you fall in love with someone, you are physically and emotionally attracted to them and you will possibly want to marry and share your life with them. When you love someone like people that you are related to, you care for them but you are not attracted to them in the same way. Love is different for many people, for some, it can be the greatest thing in the world, and for some, it can be the worst, it all depends on our experiences and if we are willing to open our hearts to new possibilities.

What Love Means To Me

Love. There are many different types of love. Love between a husband and wife, love between a parent and child. There’s even love between a young couple and between a person and an animal. To me, love is indescribable. There is no true definition for the word love. Even though I think there is no definition for the word love, I think one will know when they are in love. However, if I had to say what love is, I would say God. I think that each person has their own definition of love. When I hear the word love, the first word I think of is God. Someone else might think about current or past boyfriends or girlfriends. They might even think about their parents. In the end, true love remains.

Support Love

Love is when you will do anything to benifit that person, thing, or beleif. Like giving your life for your family, country, or anything else you love. Most saints gave their life for God because they love God. Soldiers go into battle knowing that they may die for their country at any time. Policemen and Firefighters wake up knowing that they are risking their lives for their community. But you don't have to give your life to love something. You can take care of whatever you love. Help out someone or something you love every once and a while. Provide for your family by working to pay for the needs. There is an unlimited amount of things you can do for people or things that you love.

What Is Love?

The definiton of love is a feeling of warm personal attachement or deep affection for a parent, child, or friend. To me, love is a special connection between two people whether it be husband and wife, mother and child, or sister and brother. My favorite quote of love would be 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8. "Love is patient; love is kind; It does not envy; it does not boast; it is not proud; It is not rude. It always protects, trusts, and perserveres. Love never fails." This quote is very true because love should be a pure emotion that never fails in your life. There are so many different types of love such as a love for the opposite sex, love for your parents, or love for your best friend. My family is always here for me and will love me no matter what decisions I make in life good or bad. Besfriends are their to support me and help me stay on the right path because they care about what I do with my life. Love is not always a happy feeling. A lot of time it causes pain, depression, or lost relationships. Love can also be found in the simplest situations such as playing outside with my nieces and nephew to listening to my grandparents tell me interesting stories from their past. Love is needed for everyone as often as possible because it is a special gift that can be used so many ways everyday.

love is strange

Love, to me, means caring very deeply for someone or something. It is having a true passion. You can have love for almost anything. For instance, I love Mrs. Dupuy’s English class. Everyday when I walk into fourth hour I know I am going to learn something new. Love does not have to be for a person. Love also doesn’t have to be beneficial to you. Some people love drugs. The crazy thing is that an addict’s love for drugs can be nearly identical to a husband’s love for his wife. How could you have the same feeling for two blatantly different things? Love is a very strange thing. It can cause people to do the most irrational things.

What is love?

My definition of love is when your with the one person that means the most to you and you feel completely safe knowing nothing will go wrong. In my opinion, love is rare, and when it comes around, you better take advantage of it. Love is a strong word; a word you can not just throw around. I personally, have not experienced love yet, and honestly, it is the last of my worries. I mean sure, I have my family and friends whom I love dearly, but as far as guys, they are last on my list. Being so young, I am not intending to find love, I believe I will find it later in life. Love means a great deal to me and I do not want to rush it. Love affects every one's life's, not just myself. Nobody ever wants to be lonely and when your with the one you love, you feel complete. It is as though they are your other half; you are the Oreo and they are the milk! Love will eventually come to everyone, hopefully, and when it does, cherish it. Love is a gift that God has sent to you, do not just toss it away, give it a shot with an open mind.

Love is Unique

Many people around the globe have their own idea of what they believe love is. Love is the same in some aspects of life, and can differ in many others. It can be altered by something as simple as a person's characteristics. The way a person thinks, can make all the difference of that person's perspective toward love. This being said, love is ultimately a mystery. The way one person sees love, can appear completely foreign to someone else. We, people, are all unique. Therefore, I also stamp love as unique. Love, to me, is showing people that you care. It is letting them know that if they need your aid, you'll be there to lend a hand. Not only telling them but to actually take the initiative to carry them through it. When you feel up to doing the deed, and when you don't, this is what love is. Even so, love is not just what you do or give; it is also what you receive. Being able to depend and rely on the ones you love is one of the key factors to its meaning. No one can give love without having first received it. Furthermore, it is very difficult to continue to love others, without receiving it yourself. Love is also a feeling. It can be one of comfort, protection, affection or even a feeling of charm. The feeling of love is commonly referred to by the means of attraction. However this is not its only form. This is generally what I think love is. There are many types of love, and love can be shown in many ways. It all depends on who you are and what love you've received. Something to remember is that love is meant be given and received. Unfortunately, it can also be abused. When parents or teachers show you love in forms such as discipline, do not reject it, but happily receive it. Rejecting love, can leave a negative impact on them as well as you. Even parents can feel hurt or rejected by their own children. They need your love too!

What is love?

"What is love? Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me." Those are words from "What is Love?", an amazing song. The words are true. What it is love without hurting? Though it is wrong, it happens to everyone, or at least that's what I think. In every relationship, at one time or another, everyone experiences pain. Whether it be a fight, a breakup, or another reason, who knows? I think that love is when you care for someone more than you care for yourself. It means that you would do anything for that person, no matter what the cost is. The "cost" can be money, time, or even life. Love affects my life in many ways. If I didn't have parents that loved and cared for me, I wouldn't have food or clothes! Love and encouragement from friends can really be a moral booster and relaxer in times of stress from school, or just life at home. Love is shown in many ways, from a hug or kiss in the commons area, to asking the one you love to marry you, and spend the rest of their life with you. I believe that at our age, we are not old enough to know what "true" love is yet. As we grow older and gain experience with love, we will hopefully begin to understand what the words "true" love mean.

Love

Love is always a difficult subject to talk about because it is such a broad subject. Love is a feeling that is indescribable. You always want to be with that person. Maybe, you would do things for that person that you would not normally do. In many cases in the world, people have died to save the ones they love. But, in other cases, people have died from people not loving enough. This is shown at Columbine, where the guys got bullied and shot those people. Love affects everyone by the way we treat others. The more love we show the more we get along, mostly. You can show love in many ways. One being by actions. You can do something nice for them. Another is you could say something nice to them. The simplest thing could make someone’s day.

Love is...

Love is hard to explain. However, there are several types. The love between a family, love with a spouse, love for food, and most importantly, a love for God. Basically, love is a positive attraction between a pair of people (God,spouse), group of people (family), and inanimate objects (food). Love for God should always come first. After God then family. Finally, after God and family comes personal relationships then inanimate objects. It is very important to do this. I also liked what Kat said about ways to express love such as notes, letter, and other things. These can explain and show your love for others. Things like just living a godly life can show your love for God and can show respect to others. Just doing what others ask you to do, no matter what, can show this too. Although love can be hard to explain we know that there are several way and things to show love to.

Love

Love is a very powerful word. It is that person who gives you some sort of feeling that you can not describe. In my opinion, love is when you give your whole heart to that special person and they give their heart back to you. Sometimes you can not describe what love is; it just happens. Also you have to be willing to spend your whole life with that person. That is the biggest challenge to most couples in this world. In my life, my parents fell in love when they were in high school. They have stayed together ever since they have started. They have had their ups and downs, but they still love each other with all their hearts. Also in my life my family has a type of love too. It is not like a boyfriend and girlfriend type of love; it is like a caring type of love. If we fall, we just help each other and keep going. In my opinion, love last longer when you are friends for a while and then you start dating rather than love at first sight. You know more about the person when you are friends. Just remember, love is a very powerful word. Do not use it if your not giving your whole heart.

What is love?

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary states that love is to cherish or to feel a passion, devotion for someone. To you, love could be an emotion, a feeling, or simply just a word. It is all just a matter of opinion, like most things in life. I think love is a strong emotion you feel for someone or something. Love has a huge affect on every one's life. If there is not any kind of love in your life, whether it's from your family or your friends, you usually are not very happy. I believe everyone needs some kind of love. You show love to one another in many ways. Whether it is being some one's friend, or just being there with that person when they need you. Being a friend is one of the best kinds of love you can give anyone. What I am trying to say is, love does not have a definite definition. It is whatever you think it is and how you see it.

What a Subject: Love

Love can be a noun, a verb and adjective. In many ways it can be undescribable or it can be completely fathomable. Love contains a wide variety of deeds or feelings. For example, love can be caring for someone, picking up litter you see on the Earth's floor or just respecting someone. These things can be considered loving deeds. Or caring, compassionate, trustworthy and respectful. Bracnches of love like the many pigments off each different leave of a tree. Some people can find love romantic, or icky to their definition of love. Wothout love in the world there would be no peace. But for if there is no love without hate then we would all be so similar...I think you can think of many ways to sow up love into a definition for you're own personal reason and fathom the things it can resimble or symbolize. I can get lost in thought on the subject. I belive that a person will love more than one other person before they find the one they want to be with for the rest of their life. And if they're lucky it just might be their first, like Mrs. Dupuy.
All the love that is givin to me is absolutly overwhelming and I cannot but be forced to give it back to them. I think the love that so many people have given me has come back and made me as loving and compassionate as I am. Although, there is a love that is a little harder to come by. Agape: unselfish love for another person. Usually related to Christianity, this love is the most powerful other than the love we recieve from God. As wide and as far the mind can search for strings of love to sow the heart and mind in understanding, love is one tricky puzzle.

Love?

A lot of people question what love is but the real question is how do you love someone? I think you have to love yourself first to accept others into your heart. Loving yourself and showing respect to yourself will help you to love others. How would someone be able to love someone when you can't even love their own self? I think everyone needs love in their lives. Many wonder how to love others. Well I think ways to show someone you love them is to always put them first and always care for them no matter what. Love means a lot to me because without it there would only be sadness in my life. I think love brings people together and make everyone have a good mood. Love can be shown to others in so many different ways like just doing the most littlest things for someone you care about. Without love this world would be cruel and depressing. Love is to me is when you care about someone that your willing to give your life for them.

Love Is...

Everyone experiences love, but if you ask someone what love is, you get a different answer from each person. No one views love exactly the same because even though it is just one emotion, it can be seen and felt in many different ways. In my eyes, love is compassion and affection towards someone or something. It is the feeling of never wanting to let go, and the fear of having to let go. It is being happy and joyous when you are around that person, or even when you are just thinking of them. Love is often described as the closest thing we have to magic which may be because of what it causes the humans' brain to experience. When you are in love, you feel like a whole different person, like nothing can stop you. You feel like you are floating and like time is never ending. Love is fragile and gentle and it can slip away if we let it. It is something we should never have to second-guess, something we should never let go of. Through a kiss, a hug, a letter, or even a small note love can be expressed. We all experience love at least once and even though people may say they do not believe in it, it exists. All we have to do is look around us.

Love is.....

What is love? This is a very complicated question, but if you have ever experienced love in your life then you find this question easy to answer. Love is not being obsessive; it’s not being greedy or always wanting. Love to me is when you strongly care about someone for them, not how they look or how they act, but you care about them for themselves. You must always put your love before yourself and you must always love with your entire heart. It’s very fragile, and if you’re not careful, it can just float away on a breeze and never come back. In my life, love is the most important feeling of all, and you must always love. If you always hate, you will always be sad, but if you always love, then you will always get the feeling of happiness in your life. Love can be one of the most powerful things on the planet, all you have to do is love someone. That’s what I did, and in return I feel like the luckiest guy in the world. Love helps in every aspect in your life, and even a little amount of love could brighten up someone's day. All you need is love.

What is love?

Love is a difficult feeling to explain, but it is also a feeling no one can deny having. Everyone has loved someone in some point in their life. To me, love is when you care so much about someone that it is impossible to imagine life without them. When you look into someone’s eyes, that tingling feeling you start to feel inside of you is easily described as love. When you love someone, you do not judge them or find every little thing they do wrong. Love does not regret, nor is it unkind. Love is something that should come natural and should not be forced. Love is when you find true happiness. I believe that love is also very fragile. Love can change a life in an instant, and has changed my life in a very positive way. Love will always find a way and it has found its way into my life. Just by simply telling someone that you love them, could change a life forever.

Love

Love affects everyone’s lives. Whether it is putting a skip in their step or making them feel safe, everyone has been affected by love. I believe that love is caring for someone so much that you will do anything for them. Most people will do anything for the one they love, it could be their brother, sister, best friend, or spouse. In some cases a mother will love her child so much that she will die for them. Love has affected my life though family. My family is very close and although we tease each other we always know we love one another. Love for God has also made peoples lives happier and healthier. Love can be shown to others in many ways. It could be listening to a friend’s problem, helping a little brother or sister, or protecting the ones you love from being hurt. There may not be an exact definition of love, but we all know how it feels.

What is Love?

Love is so many things and can be expressed in many different ways. We all have love for everybody in a different way. Whether it is your family, friends or your boyfriend/girlfriend, they all make you happy and feel good about yourself. Love means a lot to me and I am sure it means a lot to other people too. You go through life with people you love and if you did not have them, your life would not be the same. The people you love and the ones that love you make you who you are. They influence your life each and every day. They make you happy and even sometimes make you upset, but in the end it is worth it because you grow stronger with that person. Love can be shown in many ways. You can help someone by helping them through a rough time or being there for them when they need you the most. Love is such a simple thing to say but it has a much larger meaning behind it. Everyone should be able to experience such an amazing feeling.

Love

Love can be defined differently by every person you meet. For example, Webster's Standard Dictionary defines it as, "a strong attraction brought about by affection or desire." I agree. There are three types of love from The Bible. Love can be the love you feel towards your brother or sister, or your best friend. Which is called, "Philos." Or the love you feel towards your boyfriend or girlfriend, or spouse. Which is "Agape." There's even "Eros" love, which is based more along the lines of lust. Love means a lot to me, and can be shown with a hug, a kiss, or even words. How you show love for someone, just depends on how affectionate of a person you are. Everyone has their own definition of love, because love can be so many different things to different people. I think it just all depends on your own personal expierences and opinions.

Love?

What is love? Many people ask this question. But they get few answers. Love is a felling or an emotion. But to me love is wanting to be with someone all the time no matter what. Even through the ups and downs you still have that feeling for them. Love is when get butterflies and uncontrolably smile everytime you see or talk to them. That person is not a want they are a need. So far in my life I only love three things, God, my family, and friends. I think I am too young to fully be inlove with a boy and only want him. But I am sure as I get older I will find that one special guy who I will fall head over hills in love for. And this what love is to me and how I feel about it.

love

"What is love?" I think this is one of the most complicated questions to answer. I have never heard a right or wrong answer, and for all I know, there may not be one. Love is shown through every emotion we have. I believe that is what makes it so difficult to describe. If somebody brings us joy when we are around them, it is because of love. Also, if we dislike another person, it is because they interfered with love or someone else we love. The best way I can describe love is when you care about somebody so much that you can not imagine your life without them. It is an emotion you have for a person who warms your heart or gives you butterflies. It may complicate your life, or even simplify it. Love is the most backwards emotion you can feel. As I said before, there is no exact answer the question, but we can all describe it through our own experiences.

Love, what is it?

What is love? Many people believe that love is magical with princes and princesses, but it is not. Love has its ups and downs. Love is having a special friendship with someone you care about. It is also trusting that person and standing by them through tough times. Love is wanting to be with that person for whom they are. One thing I have learned is love is not perfect. If you deeply love someone, you love them even though they are imperfect. Love is something you feel towards someone. Love can make you overwhelmed with happiness and a cheerfully. Most important to me is, love gives us strength. It is the strength to let ourselves trust someone enough to fall in love with that person in the first place.

Love is...

I believe love is a feeling or emotion in which you feel stong, passionate affection for another person or object. Love is percieved in many different ways. Almost everyone has experienced love. However not everyone has been in love. There is a huge difference in being in love and loving someone. Most children love their granny, but you are not in love with your granny. The difference is small yet very incredible. Being in love can be hard but worth it. You have this overwhelming emotion towards another person when you are in love. Athletes love their sport but they are not in love with it. Love is a very complicated matter. There are so many different ways to love someone or someting. People fight for what they love and protect what or who they love. Over all, at some point in time everyone experiences love but never really knows how to explain it.

What is Love?

Love, is it really real? There are so many questions about love that nobody can answer. Does anyone really know what true love is? Love to me can mean many things, but is it really love? To me love is when you truly care about someone and you can't go one minute without thinking about them. It also is the feeling that you get when you see someone and you just know that they are the right one. At my age i don't think that anyone really knows what true love is. To many people love is just saying I love you, but to really mean it there has to be more to it. Love can be expressed through many emotions and actions. Love can be shown through sadness, anger, or even happiness. The emotions caused by love are endless, and unexplainable. Will anyone ever really know what love is? Can you really love someone. What is love?

What is love, exactly?

Anyone can love. Even a cold-hearted person can experience the mind-boggling experience of loving someone or something. I believe that love can't be stopped. Even if you have nothing in common with someone, you can still begin love them, even if it isn't in a romantic way. Even though a sibling may annoy you, you can't deny that they are a very significant part of your life. Merriam Webster's dictionary defines love as "1 a (1) : strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties (3) : affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests 2 : warm attachment, enthusiasm, or devotion".
These are all good descriptions of love, although they don't specify that love has traits or guidelines. They simply define love as an emotion or feeling. One of the best and most clear and complete descriptions of love is 1 Corinthians 13:3-8. These verses not only show how we should love and treat those that we love, but it also shows how important love is. The beginning of verse 8 really sticks out to me: "Love never fails".
It is so reassuring to know that love NEVER fails! That means that when someone has a real love for you, they still love you when you mess up, make a fool out of yourself, are having a bad hair day, or even when you hurt them. Everything always seems to be so inconsistent and unstable, but believing and trusting in those words and knowing you are loved makes it better. My life would be pointless and miserable if there wasn't a spark of love in it.

Kinds of Love

People in the world love differently from each other. There are many different kinds of love. There is the love a person has for a significant other. There is the love friends share between one another, love shared between a person and thier pets or any other animals they may not own. There is love that billions of people share for God and Jesus. Love is shared between a mother and her child and a father and his child. Grandparents share love with granchildren. Uncles and aunts share love with nieces and nephews. Animals share love among each other, as do humans. Love is a special feeling that is easily burned out if not kept fueled up. The feeling of love is mutual between two people, a person and an animal, or even a person and an object with sentimental value. If love tries to grasp you in its clutch, do not fight it, but be careful and do not love to quickly, love slowly. For love that is slow will last longer than love that is quick.

Love

What is love? Many people ask this question. I believe that love is the acceptance of someone for who they are and loving and accepting them no matter what. This is what true love is and what people need to do. I myself don’t really enjoy discussions of love, but I respect it when others talk about it. If someone is in love, they should stop and see if it is for the right reasons. If you truly think you love someone think on this, “. . . . The way to love anyone is to realize that one day may be gone. . . . . .” K. G. Chesterton. Think how real your love is and be really sure that you will love them no matter what happens. Love is love and love is forever.

What is love?

Baby Don't hurt me, Baby don't hurt me, no more.
Hahaha. Alright. Some people think love is undefinable, some say it's a feeling, some say it is that "can't-eat, can't-sleep,reach-for-the-stars,over-the-moon,world-series," kind of thing. The dictionary.com definition of"love is a profoundlytender, passoinate affection for another person; a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend."
I personally think love is not just showing but doing, staying with you through thick and thin, the good and bad times. It is actually more than that. But you can have love for other things than a person you're close to. You can have a love for your country, your job, your pets, and even your home (country, town, state, ect.).
You can show love in many ways. Like, mowing the grass, or cleanig with out being asked, or leaving a little note saying "I love you!" in their pocket. You could also show love by physical means that I won't get into. You could cheer them up on a sad day. There are so many ways to show love.

Love

"L is for the way you looked at me. O is for the only one I see. V is very, very extraordinary. E is even more than anyone that you adore..." (L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole).
Is that all love really is? No, of course not. Love is a strong, positive emotion. It can be expressed towards anyone or anything. Love is very powerful and I believe it can conquer the world. Think about it. If there were no love in the world, it would be a mess. First off, we would probally be running around killing each other. Secondly, there would be no such thing as salvation, God or Jesus. Picture a world without that. God is love; he commanded us to love (John 13:34). He also described love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it doesn't rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails." Next time you say you hate someone, think about it first and think about how the world would be without love.

The Question of Love
Truly, what is love? How do you find love? Where do you find love? Once you find love how can you keep it? These are all very good questions when referring to this ominous thing looming above our young heads. How can any one who isn't in love know what love is? How can those people who say they are in love know to their core that they are in love? Why can't love be a thing that is exact or precise? Many things that we know to be true can be proven wrong. Can love be the same way? We all tell someone that we love them. It might be our parents or our friends, but we say we love them, so is that the same kind of love that is shown to a boyfriend or girlfriend? Is your love for one stronger than the other? What makes love? Is it a good relationship with a person, or is it intimacy? How can you tell if it is love or if it is lust? Could it be both with one just a little ahead of the other, or one disguising itself as the other? We know what we are supposed to believe love is, but is that truly what everyone wants? Are you supposed to have enough passion to give your life for them? Or is that just obsession? If so then what draws the line? There are so many variables in this thing we call love, so which one should we weigh the most?

What is love?

1 Corinthians 13 verse 4-5 says, "Love is patient; love is kind. Love does not envy; is not boastful; is not conceited; does not act improperly; is not selfish; is not provoked; does not keep a record of wrongs." This, in my opinion, describes love perfectly. When I think of love, I think of sacrifice, and when I think of sacrifice, I think of when Jesus died on the cross. He could have let us die because of our sin, but He sacrificed His life because He loves us unconditionally. Also when I think of love I think of security. I never have to worry about whether I will eat, or if I will have a place to sleep at night because I know that my parents will always take care of me because they love me. Whenever someone loves you, you can always be yourself around them. Truly loving someone does not mean you only love the good parts about the person, but you accept them even with their flaws. Love can be shown in many different ways such as listening to a friend, giving kind words, a hug, or helping your little brother out with his chores. Showing love is not always doing huge things for a person, but sometimes its the little things that makes them realize how much you love them.

What is a Hero?

To most people, a hero saves lives or a country. If you ask me, a hero is just a person that helps someone else. A hero could be anyone from a music artist to a secret agent saving the world. One of country music singer Josh Turner's songs saved a womans life once. He was doing a meet and greet after one of his concerts and a woman pulled him aside. She told him that she was about to swalow a whole bottle of pills when his song "Long Black Train" came on the radio. She listened to the song and put the bottle down. But you don't have to save a life to be a hero. You could help someone with their homework or a project and be a hero. Everyday heros are policemen and firemen. I have a couple of policemen in my family and they put their lives on the line every day just to help people out. You don't need to put your life on the line to be a hero. All you have to do is help someone with their bags or give them directions. That is what a hero in my definition is.

Hero

Everyone has a hero, whether it is Superman, your mom or dad, a solider, or even a movie star or athlete. But strength, courage, or even fame and fortune are not the only qualities that make a hero. To me, a hero is someone who stands up and fights for what they believe in. Today, very few people stick up for what they believe in because they are afraid of what people will think of them, if its something little like a band they like or something bigger, like their morals, or even God. That’s why Gandhi is my hero. He brought peace to India in a time of civil unrest. He did not care what the consequences were, in fact because of his actions he spent many years in jail. I believe anyone can be a hero if they just do something little as standing up for someone, or something they believe in.

What is a hero?

To me, a hero is someone who will be there for you and gives you advice whenever you need it. They show you light when you are in darkness. A Christian, in my eyes, is one of the biggest heroes ever. They are true heroes because they spread the word of God to people who may or may not have ever heard of him. Christians help people no matter who they are or what they have done. A true hero is someone who lifts you up when you are down. Everyone sees heroes in their own different ways. Most people say their moms and dads are their heroes because they raised them to be who they are today. Or others would say firemen and policemen are their heroes because they get rid of the dangers in the world. A hero has no definite definition, they are who you think they are. And to me, Christians are my heroes.

Hero to Me

A hero will always mean something different to everyone. Some might think of cartoons and comics, and others might think of someone in their life. But to me a hero can be described in many ways. Being a hero takes true dedication of a person's time. Also, being able to help a person in a way where the task, it's a favor and not a chore, is a hero. The hero, after doing the task, would not ask for anything in return. Only a simple jester of happiness from the person that was helped, knowing that he/she made a difference. A hero would never be selfish or rude, only the opposite. A hero would be inviting and would always have a positive approach on life, even in the worst case scenario. Also, a hero can be someone that gives you good advice on what you need help on. Also, heroes will always put others first and will have a great part of being responsible, for themselves and others. Heroes can be easy to find or hard to find. Some heroes may be overlooked each day and some might be around you all the time, like a friend or family. In conclusion, a hero to me will always end the day with a positive perspective and a smile. :)

My Heroine

They say a hero is someone who always does the right thing. The way I see it, there is little truth in that statement. I have not ever in my life met anyone who had never made a mistake. Although it might be cliche, nobody is perfect. George Washington may be seen as a hero to some, but he did cut down his father's cherry tree. Spiderman saved many people in his movie, but he did let revenge get the best of him. Do not get me wrong, people that mess up can still be heroes. In fact, that can actually make them even more of a hero. When someone makes a wrong decision that gives others the opportunity to learn from their decision. My hero is my sister, Rebecca. She saved me from drowning when I was two years old. At the age of 21, believe me, my sister has made her share of mistakes. However, she has always been there for me, even if she has more important personal needs. In my eyes, that is what makes someone a hero.

Everyday Heroes

When most people hear the word "hero" they may think of someone with super strength, or speed. But there are heroes all around us. Everyday people. People you might bump into on your way to class each day. When I hear the word "hero" I visualize a smart, respected, and nice person. My hero, is my best friend, Josh. He is himself around everyone he knows. He's confident, but not cocky. He's smart, but doesn't gloat about it. He speaks his mind, but he's kind about it. He's repectful, and he gets respect in return. He's helpful, and is always there when I need him. When I think of a hero, I think of him. He's an all around, great person. Even if he doesn't have x-ray vision, or the ability to fly.

Heros

When most people think of a hero they think of spider man or superman. But I think a hero should have a more realistic persona. I believe any person who is a responsible, respectable and kind person can be a hero to someone. The most important quality in a hero would be the fact that they can be a good role model to others. My role model is my best friend, Jamie. She is a an athletic, confident, smart and a strong minded person. She is willing to stand up for what she believes in, which is another quality that makes her a person i wish I could be. Jamie gives great advise and has really helped me excel at life. She has helped me with many things no one else would. Jamie is a really great friend, nice and responsible person, which are the main reasons i choose her as my hero. A hero should be a person who is able to give you advise and help whenever your in need of it most. A hero should be a good role model, nice, respectable and responsible person. A hero should be someone you look up to, someone you could strive to be like. A hero should be someone you could actually be, not like superman or spider man with super powers, someone with qualities you would like to have.

Heroes in our lives...

There are many people we call heroes, but what does that really mean? To me, a hero is a person who will always do the right thing. They pose as good role models for the people around them. They are the people that take risks for the sake of others' health and well-being. The people who put aside themselves, their belongings, or just their time are heroes. Honestly though, a hero doesn't even really have to take any risks, to me, they just have to do something good for someone else. Such as donating to charity, or helping a neighbor move a heavy box. Heroes help people, even if they don't know who their helping is. So a hero can be anything from a police officer to a marine, or even a community volunteer. Anyone can be a hero, just by taking time to do something for the good of someone else. Disaster workers, soldiers, and doctors are all heroes, because they go out of their way to help the people around them in need. So if you're in need, there is almost always going to be someone out there to help.

who are heroes?

My definition of a hero is someone who helps people physically, emotionally or spiritually on a day to day basis. A hero does not have to be someone who stops a crashing bullet train with their bare hands or someone who puts a terrorist, who is trying to blow up a 747, in a headlock. They just have to be a person who touches another person’s life. A hero can be anything from a firefighter to a personal trainer. Heroes can be big or small, short or tall. Heroes feel they have to personally act to make the world a better place. They are not just going to sit back and wait for other people to do it. When a massive earthquake turned the country of Haiti to shambles, heroes immediately went into action. Doctors and nurses abandoned their jobs to go and treat the thousands of wounded victims that had no other help. Countless numbers of people would have died without their service. Most of them even did it without any pay. They are truly heroes.

Hero

The word hero has many different meanings. To me a hero is someone you can look up to. They are the people you can trust and the ones who are always there for you. A hero comes to the rescue and helps in times of trouble. Heroes are the people who do great things for others. When hearing the word hero you may think of a fireman pulling someone from a burning building or a police officer keeping the community safe at night, but in reality anyone can be a hero. It could be anyone from an astronaut going to space for the first time to a soldier who’s away at war fighting for his country. We’re surrounded by heroes’ everyday. You don’t have to be famous or receive a big paycheck to be considered a hero. Some of the greatest heroes are simple everyday people. A hero can be a friend who is always there for you or even a stranger who smiles at you on the street. Heroes are everywhere helping us get through our day and making our lives a little easier.

What Makes A Hero

To me a hero is anyone that you look up to, for any reason good or bad. Some people say superheroes, like superman, spider man, etc. are not real heroes. Think back to when you were a kid. I know I used to think of superman and batman as heroes, because they were like role models, I wanted to be like them. Now some people are a little different, they might even like some villains from T.V. shows because they like them and might want to grow up and be like them. That villain may be someones hero the same way superman would be to a little boy or girl. Then some people think that there parents are their heroes. That is understandable to. If you love your parents and you want to be like them then they are your hero. I personally do not have a hero, besides my mom and dad but everybody says that. I used to think Tony Hawk was my hero but I grew out of skateboarding and now I am looking for someone else to look up to and to want to be like. That is what I think of heroes.

A Hero To Me .

The true definition of a hero is someone of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. A hero doesn’t always fight crime or always have evil enemy. A hero affects people and causes change with the deeds they do. They are somebody that we can all look up to. A hero is a genuinely good person, and always think of others first. To me a hero is somebody who does the right thing when nobody is looking. Doctors and firefighters are heroic because they save lives every day. A Hero can be the person who buys a homeless person food or give them old clothing. Heroes wants to better their towns and community. The groups of people who donate their time to hold food drives or pick up trash on the side of roads are truly heroic to me. A physiologist is also a hero because they care for the patients’ wellbeing and mental health. You do not need fancy costumes, capes or tights to be heroic. Heroes are everyday people who want to make a difference with one kind act at a time.

A Hero

I think that most people put too much thought into what a hero truely is. In my opinion, a hero is simply someone you can look up to or that you can admire. That person may be admired because they save other's lives, because of their courage to stand up for what they believe in or simply because they listen to other people's problems and are there to comfort them. My hero would have to be my youth minister. He is always there for me and everyone else in out youth group, even other members in the church. He gives up his free time for people with the need of his assisttance. He puts himself last and others first. He is also a very Godly man which is the main reason I look up to him. I strive to be like him as far as being a servant goes. One day when I get older, I want people to look up to me and see me as their hero. One way I can do that is by following in my youth minister's footsteps. I hope that you too will strive to be a hero so that people will look up to you and say, "Wow! I want to be like them some day!" Those are some of the most powerful words that someone can say to you. You never know who's watching you and that person might want to be just like you some day.

The Little Things That Make A Hero.

Some people define a hero literally, as a superhero, someone who wears tights and protects the world from evildoers. Other people use the word to describe a police officer or a fireman since they risk their lives everyday to save others. In my opinion though, a person doesn't have to put their life at risk to be considered a hero. I think that a hero is simply a person who isn't afraid to break away from the crowd and do what they think is right. Even if what that person does is something little, like defending a person who is being picked on, in my eyes they would be considered a hero just for that. For example, my one hero is my aunt Dana. She is a strong independent woman who lives the life that she thinks is right and isn't at all affected by what others think of that. She has taken all of the hardships life has thrown at her and gone with it. This woman is the type of person who can provide for her own children and at the same take in another child and treat them as if they were her own. To me, this is what I would consider a heroic act, just doing what you know is right.

What is a hero?

According to Webster's, the definition of a hero is a person noted for feats of courage or nobility, one who risked or sacrificed his life. In my opinion, a hero is self-less, courageous, and does not care about getting the credit for something they did. What makes someone a hero is stepping up when someone, or our country is in danger. September 11, 2001. The passengers on Flight 93 had heard about the attacks on the World Trade Center and knew hijackers were on their plane. The passengers took the terrorists down and the plane crashed in Pennsylvania instead of its original destination, Washington D.C. The passengers on that plane did not know when they got on the plane that they were going to die, but they were willing to sacrifice themselves, to save many.
Also when I think of heroes, I think about our soldiers. No one made them volunteer for the military, it was their choice. Every single day they put their lives on the line for our country. Thats what I call a her0. Other examples of American heroes are Abraham Lincoln, Clara Barton, Ronald Reagan, George Washington and so many more. However, a hero is not always someone who changed our country, but someone who changes lives everyday. Firemen, policemen and astronauts do not always get recognized for their heroism. A hero is someone who takes a stand to defend and protect the people of America. Without heroes, our country would not be the greatest country on earth.

A hero...?

Everyone has their hero, but what exactly is a hero? Who would be your hero? A hero should be someone who inspired someone to go in the right direction, takes responsibility for their actions, and always putting others before themselves. A person who leads you in the right direction when you don't know which path to choose is someone who is a hero. Someone who is worth looking up to for their leadership. Secondly someone who's a hero would always take responsibility for their wrong doings. Heroes would never blame others for they have caused and takes the punishment. Lastly another heroic trait should be someone is constantly putting themselves after everyone else. An example of a hero would be a soldier who is fighting in Iraq. They went to Iraq to fight for people in the United States. They don't even know half the people in the United States but they are willing to put themselves after us to keep us safe from danger. A hero would always be able to help someone go towards the better direction, taking responsibility, and putting others first.

My Hero

To me, a hero is someone who makes the right decision under difficult circumstances. They also are brave and smart. A hero is someone who can think for themselves and not be pressured or persuaded by the opinions of others. A hero sets an example for everyone. Someone in the military is the best example of a hero I can think of. They risk their lives so we can be free as Americans. Other heros have little kids that look up to them and say “I wanna be like them one day!” To me, I respect them and if they talk to me I will listen to every word they say. They are people too, but when they are pressured they always know what to do. I would love to be a hero one day. I would also like for people to remember my name. But, for now I am here respecting the greatness of the ones who make our lives a better place.

A Hero

A hero can be a definition of many different things. To me a hero is someone who has changed a person's life. Everyday, someone around the world is performing an act of heroism. Some characteristics that a hero has are courage and faith. Having courage makes you a strong and independent person. Firemen and policemen are people who are courages everyday of their lives. Having faith are in those people who know their doing a good deed, and no matter what, God is with them. Other characteristics that a hero has are honesty and morals. Being honest, is not always the easiest thing, but a true hero never lies, no matter what the situation is. A hero, has morals/standards they set for themselves, that they must fulfill. Everyone can be a hero; just give it time and your day will come.

Hero

Hero is a complicated word. It can have many meanings, and can describe a wide variety of people. Some would say a hero is someone who puts their life on the line to help people, while others say that a hero is someone that is always there for them. To me, there is one type of hero that people seem to forget about. This type of heroism is even harder sometimes than going to war or saving someone from a fire. It is simply standing up for what you believe in. I think of a guy like Tim Tebow. I know there is a lot of hype about him and it might get aggravating to hear people talk about him all the time, but of all the people in the world, it takes a lot of guts for a guy like him to stand up for what he believes. He is said to be one the best (if not the best) college football players of all time, so the spotlight is constantly on him. Yet in a generation that tends to frown upon anything involving God or religion in general, Tebow is still an active voice in the gospel. It would be very easy for a big hot-shot superstar like him to go along with the evils of this world, and get caught up in himself. But no, he lives a life for Christ instead. After his Heisman ceremony his sophmore year, instead of going out partying and celebrating with his friends, he jumped on a plane and headed for the Phillipines to do mission work. That is what I believe a hero is. Someone who is not ashamed to stand for Christ.

Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the Lord Jesus Christ

What makes a hero?

Personally, I think the word hero sets boundaries in our minds. When we hear this word, we flashback to the super-heroes on the cartoons we used to watch. In reality, heroes are everyday people doing everyday acts of kindness. When I think of what a true hero is, the words loyal and selfless come to my mind. Heroes are reliable people who give you a shoulder to cry on and a hand to hold. They give you advice and brighten your day. My heroes are my parents and friends. When I have a rough day, I can trust that they are there for me. Although these acts may not seem heroic, they may make all the difference in somebody's day. The deeds come from their heart and they do not do it for attention. Heroes share their time and effort on daily bases. They want to lend a hand out of generosity. Everybody relies on people like these. I believe this compassion makes the world go round. These are the traits of our daily heroes through my eyes.

What Makes a Hero

When people think of the word hero, they usually think of someone with super powers. They think of fictional figures like Spiderman and Superman. However, when I think of a hero, I picture different groups of people. I think of policemen who risk their lives trying to cut down crime. They protect us from burglars, murderers, and other criminals. I also think of firemen who put their lives on the line every day to protect other citizens. Of course, America's true heroes are its soldiers who are over seas fighting for their country. Not all heroes however have to put their lives at stake to be a hero. I consider the New Orleans Saints to be heroes for the citizens of New Orleans. After Katrina, all Louisiana saw was defeat, but the Saints gave the city new life. heroes are all around us everyday. They may not have super powers, or wear fancy outfits, but they are heroes just the same.

Strenghs of A Hero

A hero can be defined in many different ways. Some may say a hero is someone who saves lives on a daily basis and others may imagine someone strong and brave. Many people have the common misconception that this definition, or one that runs along the same lines, are the absolute characteristics that establish a hero. I think a hero is anyone willing to sacrifice their time and effort in order to assist various people in a place they may physically, mentally or emotionally struggle. Someone who teaches a person to ride a bike or tutors them in Algebra or even encourages someone who has trouble feeling accepted, these are all examples of heroes. You don’t have to be tall or strong or cool to be a hero. Everyone has the ability to be some sort of hero. It is not limited by shape, or by size, or by status, but by the compassion and effort you put forth to consistently help others. Some people are heroes by profession and others by choice. More or less a hero by choice or by profession is a hero all the same. Using your own strengths to help the weak is a common method used by heroes. So go out and take the time to make a positive impact on someone else’s daily life. Use your strengths to be a hero.

What Makes Someone a Hero?

When people hear the word hero, images of over-muscular men with square chins and tight suits come to mind. To me, a hero is someone who does something courageous in other's life that means a whole lot to them. A hero can be a trained surgeon in the emergency room saving someone's life, to someone who goes out of their way to be nice to you. In my life, I have experienced the works of several heros. One of them would be my best friend. She has been here to support me through everything and she always knows what to say to me in every situation. Another hero of mine would be my older teammates that encourage me, give me advice, and inspire me to work hard. Everyday I meet a new hero by someone simply lending me a pencil in class when no one else will, to someone who compliments me. Heros do not always have to be life changers, but just life motivators or inspirators. I know I would not be the same person I am today if I did not receive those gestures from my heros. A hero is someone who helps or encourages someone without realizing it. Heros make the world a better place.

What Makes A Hero

When you think of heroes, the first thing that pops into your head is probably those fictional characters you have heard about like superman or spiderman. In reality, there are heroes all around us. There are heroes everywhere you go. For instance, teachers are one of my heroes. They work hard to teach me everything I know so I can grow up to have a successful life. They may teach us educational things, but they also teach us other skills we need to survive in the real world. They teach us to be respectful towards others and to always work hard. Sometimes we may give them a hard time, but they always put up with us anyway. Even when we do not understand something, they go out of their way to help us to understand it. I know for sure that I could not understand half of the things they taught me by myself. With their help, we will grow up and someday help others also. Heroes are everyone that has helped us in our lives. They are the ones that help us reach our goals.

A Hero.

The word "hero" is a big misconception. Most people think a hero is someone on cartoon shows with powers and beats up villians. But in reality a hero could be anyone. Good examples of everyday heroes are a police man catching the bad guys, or firefighters saving people from fires. It can even be your mom or dad because they support you in life and give you the nesscessities. You, yourself could even be a hero too by doing little things in life like helping an elderly person at the store. Heroes are everywhere around us even when we don't see them. They help people out when they don't even have to be asked. Some even put their life on the line for people they may not even know and that is a real hero to me. People need to take a step back in life and learn a thing or two from these real life heroes. And we could make this place better, one hero at a time.

What makes a hero?

Heroes can be found just about anywhere you look. Heroes are not just people like superman or spiderman. You do not need super powers to become a hero. Heroes are people who help others in their time of need or help make a change. You can become a hero by just simply adding money to a charity or working a few hours at an animal shelter. Recycling could even make you a hero because you are helping to save the environment. Even though there are many heroes in this world, my hero is my grandmother. Before my grandmother passed away from her fight with cancer, she always loved helping and doing good deeds for others. She was always extremely kind and generous. She always put others before her and would do anything just to help someone. She even took in and cared for an old abandoned dog that could barely hear or see. The dog's jaw was broken and it looked as if it only had a few days left. She never gave up on her new pet and nurtured it back to health. The dog is still alive today because of my grandmother. Even though my grandmother has died, her memories will be carried out by all the lives she has touched during her lifetime.

Heroes

Heroes are much more common than you might think. Most people think of someone who saves people when they think of a hero. But you can still be a hero without saving anyone. If someone gives someone hope or help them with anything, it still makes them a hero. Heroes are people who are not afraid to put other people ahead of them, and they don’t want any glory for doing it. You shouldn’t help people for your glory; you should help them for theirs. A hero isn’t someone who lies to become famous for some heroic deed that they didn’t even do, or someone who only helps people knowing that someone would see and give them a reward. They should help just out of kindness, or to be a good person. Someone could be a hero by just volunteering to help someone with a task that is difficult for them. A hero can be brave like a fireman, caring like a priest, or helping like a father. Anything that someone does for another person would be considered a heroic act. Just remember, you should do it for their glory, not yours.
