Heroes are much more common than you might think. Most people think of someone who saves people when they think of a hero. But you can still be a hero without saving anyone. If someone gives someone hope or help them with anything, it still makes them a hero. Heroes are people who are not afraid to put other people ahead of them, and they don’t want any glory for doing it. You shouldn’t help people for your glory; you should help them for theirs. A hero isn’t someone who lies to become famous for some heroic deed that they didn’t even do, or someone who only helps people knowing that someone would see and give them a reward. They should help just out of kindness, or to be a good person. Someone could be a hero by just volunteering to help someone with a task that is difficult for them. A hero can be brave like a fireman, caring like a priest, or helping like a father. Anything that someone does for another person would be considered a heroic act. Just remember, you should do it for their glory, not yours.
