What makes a hero?
Personally, I think the word hero sets boundaries in our minds. When we hear this word, we flashback to the super-heroes on the cartoons we used to watch. In reality, heroes are everyday people doing everyday acts of kindness. When I think of what a true hero is, the words loyal and selfless come to my mind. Heroes are reliable people who give you a shoulder to cry on and a hand to hold. They give you advice and brighten your day. My heroes are my parents and friends. When I have a rough day, I can trust that they are there for me. Although these acts may not seem heroic, they may make all the difference in somebody's day. The deeds come from their heart and they do not do it for attention. Heroes share their time and effort on daily bases. They want to lend a hand out of generosity. Everybody relies on people like these. I believe this compassion makes the world go round. These are the traits of our daily heroes through my eyes.
