L O V E

When you are young, love seems to be one of the most complicated emotions to have. One minute you can feel like everything is going right and your floating on a cloud, but love can also turn sour and make you feel like everything is falling into pieces, literally. Love can be very scary because we are unable to control it; love can strike you at any moment without your control or even a warning. Love can also be very complicated because once love grows, it can fade, but it never truly goes away permanently. When I think of love, a particular person comes to mind, Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhi worked long and hard to show everyone how to love and one of his quotes goes as follows: "Love never claims, it ever gives; love never suffers, never resents, never revenges itself. Where there is love there is life; hatred leads to destruction." Mahatma Gandhi. I honestly do think that love makes the world go 'round. Care, hope and peace can all be found in love. Love has affected my life a great deal. My parents have divorced, which led me to think that true love does not really exist, but after looking into it, love is real. The love we received from Jesus Christ is real, the love for your sister or brother is real love, and the love you have for yourself is real also. I don't think I'll ever really understand love, but for the mean time, I'm just going along with the madness.
