What makes a hero?
Heroes can be found just about anywhere you look. Heroes are not just people like superman or spiderman. You do not need super powers to become a hero. Heroes are people who help others in their time of need or help make a change. You can become a hero by just simply adding money to a charity or working a few hours at an animal shelter. Recycling could even make you a hero because you are helping to save the environment. Even though there are many heroes in this world, my hero is my grandmother. Before my grandmother passed away from her fight with cancer, she always loved helping and doing good deeds for others. She was always extremely kind and generous. She always put others before her and would do anything just to help someone. She even took in and cared for an old abandoned dog that could barely hear or see. The dog's jaw was broken and it looked as if it only had a few days left. She never gave up on her new pet and nurtured it back to health. The dog is still alive today because of my grandmother. Even though my grandmother has died, her memories will be carried out by all the lives she has touched during her lifetime.

This is so true. A hero should always be giving to others. I think your definition of a hero is really what a hero should be.
