Love

"L is for the way you looked at me. O is for the only one I see. V is very, very extraordinary. E is even more than anyone that you adore..." (L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole).
Is that all love really is? No, of course not. Love is a strong, positive emotion. It can be expressed towards anyone or anything. Love is very powerful and I believe it can conquer the world. Think about it. If there were no love in the world, it would be a mess. First off, we would probally be running around killing each other. Secondly, there would be no such thing as salvation, God or Jesus. Picture a world without that. God is love; he commanded us to love (John 13:34). He also described love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it doesn't rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails." Next time you say you hate someone, think about it first and think about how the world would be without love.

  1. I love how you put a scripture in there! Because it's true! We would be running around and killing each other and there would be no salvation.

  3. Wow. It sure is hard to imagine a world with no love. I mean, love makes the world go 'round! Your blog has made think about love in a very different way.

  4. I love the scripture! It's one of my favorites. I agree one hundred percent with you. I think the world needs more love though. Because some people still kill eachother. But it would be much worse if no one loved. Love is a very important part of our everyday lives.
