Love Is...

Everyone experiences love, but if you ask someone what love is, you get a different answer from each person. No one views love exactly the same because even though it is just one emotion, it can be seen and felt in many different ways. In my eyes, love is compassion and affection towards someone or something. It is the feeling of never wanting to let go, and the fear of having to let go. It is being happy and joyous when you are around that person, or even when you are just thinking of them. Love is often described as the closest thing we have to magic which may be because of what it causes the humans' brain to experience. When you are in love, you feel like a whole different person, like nothing can stop you. You feel like you are floating and like time is never ending. Love is fragile and gentle and it can slip away if we let it. It is something we should never have to second-guess, something we should never let go of. Through a kiss, a hug, a letter, or even a small note love can be expressed. We all experience love at least once and even though people may say they do not believe in it, it exists. All we have to do is look around us.

  1. That is a very good quote. I like how you said how we can express love. Also when you said everyone has a different answer of what love is. That is very true. Nice job Nikki

  2. Your right Nikki! You could ask everyone at our school what love is, and you would most likely get a different answer from everyone. I think it's cool how you said love is the closest thing we know to magic. Good job.
