Strenghs of A Hero

A hero can be defined in many different ways. Some may say a hero is someone who saves lives on a daily basis and others may imagine someone strong and brave. Many people have the common misconception that this definition, or one that runs along the same lines, are the absolute characteristics that establish a hero. I think a hero is anyone willing to sacrifice their time and effort in order to assist various people in a place they may physically, mentally or emotionally struggle. Someone who teaches a person to ride a bike or tutors them in Algebra or even encourages someone who has trouble feeling accepted, these are all examples of heroes. You don’t have to be tall or strong or cool to be a hero. Everyone has the ability to be some sort of hero. It is not limited by shape, or by size, or by status, but by the compassion and effort you put forth to consistently help others. Some people are heroes by profession and others by choice. More or less a hero by choice or by profession is a hero all the same. Using your own strengths to help the weak is a common method used by heroes. So go out and take the time to make a positive impact on someone else’s daily life. Use your strengths to be a hero.

  1. I think you gave a great definition of a hero. it is true that we never really think about the time and effort that our daily heroes put into their acts of generosity.
