What is a hero? When I hear the word, "hero," I think of simply a good person, a friend. Someone who is not perfect, but consists of great qualities. Heroes aren't always a god or a character from a comic strip with supernatural abilities. A genuine hero would not care to be known. A hero is selfless, fearless, noble, and wise. We all have our very own hero in our life that we value... That admirable person we look up to for inspiration, even if we do not realize it. A hero does not always have to be a specific, famous character. Most frequently, a hero is simply an average, ordinary individual, who’s respected and sacrificial. Heroism is brightening up someone’s day, even if they’re having the worst of their own, and then expect nothing in return or recognition. To me, heroes are emotionally strong people and can shield any conflict that comes their way. They can notice the most insignificant things and make the biggest differences. As remarkable as heroes are, anyone is capable of being one, even yourself!
