Hero Above All Heroes

 

Real heroes are very hard to come by in today’s world. There are many characteristic that can make someone a hero, depending on the opinion of the individuals. The characteristics that are most important to me are based off the values which the Bible describes. These characteristics include real love, strength and selflessness. A hero must have a mission and true heart for God. He must work tirelessly to minister to the needs of other people. These needs include providing for those who have nothing. There may be people who have no family, no friends and no one to visit them. A hero sees to the needs of those individuals. A hero is someone who works on a daily basis. Even though there are moments in which one-time heroes shine, I believe the real heroes are everyday people who follow the example of the one true example in history. If we look around, every once in a while, we will find people who really live according to this example. The greatest hero that I have ever known is Jesus Christ. He is the one who paid the ultimate price for all of us. He is the hero above all heroes. There is no greater hero in history.
