Who are heroes?
Many people question themselves when asked to write a prompt like this, "Who is my hero and why?" I prefer to look at it as "Who is a hero, and why." People have many heroes, mainly someone in their family or a famous actor or singer. If I had to pick anyone for my hero, it would be people who choose to use their own time and money to go to shelters and feed the poor. They do not have to, yet they still take the time to cook the food for the homeless, sometimes provide them with blankets and a place to sleep, and the money comes out of larger organizations, such as Saint Vincent De-Paul. Most of the money that is used to fund these larger companies is donated and raised through fund raisers. To me, these people who do such a little thing are heroes. The feeling of happiness that comes across the homeless as their hunger disappears would be enough to make even the most self-centered egotistical person feel like they had done good for society and feel good about themselves. Who are heroes? I think that heroes are everywhere. People think heroes are these imaginative people like Superman, Spiderman, and Batman, when in reality, the heroism is in the people. They just need someone to inspire them, to move them, to make them realize they are the ones who can change and be heroes. Heroes are everywhere, and the way I see it, all you have to do is open your eyes.
