How's That For a Hero

When people think of a hero , they often think of people like Batman or Superman. When the definition is presented in their mind it's often a person who is physically strong. Although for my mind, the definition is totally different. When I think of a hero, I think of one who is not only physically strong but mentally strong as well. Just think, what if Batman had all the strength and power in the world, but not enough courage or mental strength to tell himself he could do whatever came his way. He would be no use. When someone is truly a hero, they are mentally strong and physically strong. I like to think of cancer survivors and also the ones who may have lost the battle to cancer as heroes. If you were told today, right at this moment you had cancer, would you be mentally and physically strong enough to fight on into the battle or would you sit back and mourn it? Cancer patients are very strong and truly heroes. Anyone can be a hero if they put their mind to it. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. Never underestimate the impossible.
