What is a hero? We all have different views of what a hero really is. I personally think a hero is someone who will give there life for you. A hero is someone worthy enough to give the acknowledgement to. Someone who is willing to stop what they are doing just to protect you. They would shed there own blood for you. Save you no matter what the cost.
We say our parents or firefighters are our heroes. In my opinion the only hero worthy of our attention is Jesus Christ. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't be here. He gave his life and blood on that cross. He tool the punishment from us and we didn't have to pay the cost.
That's my view of a hero.

I don't mean it the way it sounds. You DID have a strong and true point here. You COULD NOT be more right! It's hard to write a comment good enough for those standards. I can't say much more than that...
