Not the Ordinary, But the Extraordinary!
Heroes are people that are admired for their bravery and courage. They stand out from all the rest because they are extraordinary. The few people living among us willing to step up and take matters into their own hands. For instance, firefighters are heroes because they are willing to risk their lives to help and protect citizens all over the nation. They fight through dangerous, monstrous fires to save lives no matter if they come out alive, or if they never return at all. These people are not ordinary, but they are extraordinary for their devotion, determination, and sacrifice toward something or someone. Heroes are always willing to put others' needs before their own, and they come in different forms, shapes, and sizes. People portray heroes as large, masculine gods fighting to protect people at all times just as the mighty Zeus does, but in reality, there are heroes everywhere you look. For example, lifeguards are heroes, saving people from drowning in the pool everyday, and policemen are heroes, serving their citizens everyday with justice. Heroes can also be the teachers in the classroom teaching and helping the students to persevere. They do not always have to be the strong or bold ones, but they are considered the ones with the most heart. As you can tell, some heroes are strong, bold, and courageous while others are determined and dedicated, but all these heroes have something in common. They are not the ordinary, but they are the extraordinary.
