She's My Hero
What do you think of when you hear to word hero? Superman? Fireman? Someone who has super powers? We all seem to have different viewings on what a hero is. Some people consider a hero to be someone that has heroic qualities, or has performed a heroic act. Yes, that is an example of a hero, but my opinion of a hero is someone who is daring, courageous, and has a strong heart. While everyone is thinking of someone different as there heroes, I think of my mom as a hero. Not only a hero, but my hero. She out does any hero in my eyes. My mom has faced many obstacles in her life, but not once has she ever failed to be there for me. Not only is she there for me, but she is always looking out for others. No matter what the circumstance is, my mother is always putting others before herself. My mom has one of the biggest hearts I've ever seen in one person. She is one of the strongest women I know, and does she have super strength? No. Not even close, but a hero shouldn’t have to have powers to be a hero. In my opinion, there is no better Superwomen than my own mother.

Your idea of a hero is very similar to mine. I agree with you that a hero does not have to have powers or has done heroic acts. Also that your mother could definitely be considered a hero.
