It Comes from the Heart

A hero is defined as a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. There are many definitions and opinions of what a hero really is. In my opinion, a hero is someone who puts others before themselves. They would save someone else’s life with no regard for their own. The people who fight for our country, doctors who save lives, and even teachers are all examples of heroes. My grandfather is my hero because he was in the army during the Vietnam War. He risked his life to fight for our country. My grandfather is a strong and brave man. Another hero in my life is my grandmother’s pastor. Her pastor has impacted many people’s lives by bringing them to Christ  through his message. In my eyes, a hero is selfless and brave. My grandfather and my pastor show what a true hero really is.
