It's Not the Cape that Makes a Hero

Everyone has their own opinion on who or what is the definition on what a hero is. The range goes from a man in a cape to the nurses in hospitals working to keep us healthy. Mine would be our soldiers. Our soldiers risk their lives each and everyday so we can have the freedom to do as we please. They volunteer to fight for us. They have courage, and they're the bravest of the brave. Both men and women putting themselves in harms way for people they don't even know. All of them willing to step in front of bullet for us. Doing anything they have to, to eliminate the enemy. Even our reserve and national guard. They're our hometown heroes. They help those in need here while the other guys are across the world. These people, to me, are true heroes.
